KEPT FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL COMING ON ALL THE EARTH
Why Believers Suffer for Christ
Thomas believed that Jesus had risen when he saw the marks
left upon His body before He died on the cross. He later gave
his life as a martyr. Christians celebrated Christ’s death and
resurrection during Passover week until AD 325. Then the first
Sunday after the full moon of the first day of Spring was
chosen, at the Council of Nicea, to celebrate the Resurrection.
Jesus, Paul and Peter show the necessity for Christians to be
willing to suffer with Christ.
What is God’s purpose in our suffering? Peter wrote that
Jesus was the example for us to follow and we have been called
to suffer with Him. Paul reveals we are heirs of God and
joint-heirs with Christ provided we suffer with Him in order to
be glorified. Paul adds that all believers, in God’s eyes, are
already glorified. Rom.8:17, 30. The big debate among Biblical
scholars is whether Tribulation Saints who survive to the End
will be glorified. Saved after the Rapture, would they be
glorified with Christ or must they remain in their mortal bodies
when Christ comes to establish His Kingdom on the earth?
Tim LaHaye, author of the Left Behind books, explains Titus
2:13 by stating: "The Rapture is our blessed hope and is unique
for the church. On the other hand, the glorious appearing of
Christ is not for the Christian; but is for the remnant left at
the end of the tribulation. It will primarily affect the Jews
and those who have been good to them and somehow survive the
tribulation. If Christ does not rapture the church before the
Tribulation begins, much of the hope is destroyed and thus (for
Tribulation Saints) it is a blasted hope rather than a blessed
hope". The Rapture, P.71. On this basis he claims there is no
reason for the church to remain.
Notice LaHaye does not say it is a "blasted hope" for
martyred Tribulation Saints! If the hope of those who endure to
the end is blasted, what a let down for being faithful!! Looking
for the Rapture is our blessed hope; but looking for His
Glorious Appearing is a blasted hope!!!? In this view God
resurrects those saved before the Rapture as well as martyrs
after the Rapture; but does not keep His promise to glorify
those who survive to the end…even with their names having been
written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the
world. Rev.13:8; Rev.17:8.
Revelation says Believers will "love not their lives unto
death" because they are told, if they "overcome to the end, they
will rule the nations on earth with a rod of iron". If beheaded,
they will "serve God as Pillars in the Temple of heaven for 1000
years"! Rev. 3:10-12; Rev.7:14-17. The Lord will "keep all
believers from the Hour of Trial coming on all the earth"!! Not
one Believer will be "left behind" at the coming of Christ in
glory!!!
Because Jesus said that Believers who endure to the end will
be saved, they will suffer for Christ because they know they
will be glorified with Him. One: We already know suffering
teaches us patience. Two: Many of us have learned to accept
suffering as God’s will. While we pray for deliverance, we
should commit everything to Him. Three: We know we are to suffer
because it is our calling to do so. But Four: God revealed to
Paul that Christians must suffer (especially during the great
tribulation) to make Israel "jealous". Rom.11:11.
The new Left Behind book, "Kingdom Come", hit the book stores
on Passover Day, April 3.
These books claim unbelievers "left behind" at the Rapture,
but who are saved and survive to the end, must be left behind
again when Christ brings the souls of Tribulation Martyrs with
Him. They would remain in their mortal bodies to bear children
for the Kingdom! Left behind the second time unless they are
killed during the Tribulation!! It would be better to be killed
and be resurrected and glorified than to survive and remain
mortals!!!
What should a young husband do, say his name is Bill, who is
saved and deeply loves his wife who is not saved? Bill would
help her to understand what lies ahead and pray and hope. If she
were then saved during the tribulation, they would meet again.
Jesus promised to "raise up all Believers on the last day, to
gather them from the earth to the sky on one of the days after
the tribulation and to send the angels to gather them from the
ends of the sky". Holman Bible. Mark 13:24-27; Matt.24:31.
According to Tim LaHaye, if she survived to the end, she would
be "left behind" a second time to bear children in the Jewish
Kingdom.
Tim LaHaye claims there is no clear reason for the Church to
go thru the tribulation. Yet he finds a necessary role for
surviving Christians to remain on earth to populate the Kingdom.
I have two sons who married sisters. Wesley and Kenneth are
Christians but Christine and Donna are not. Wes continues living
with Christine though she remains unfaithful to him. Ken and
Donna love each other deeply; but she believes in a form of
voodoo.
If Donna should be saved after the Rapture, should she hope
to be reunited with Ken and both reign on the earth for 1000
years with Christ...or remain in her normal body and not be
glorified? If Christine were saved in the tribulation, she might
prefer martyrdom knowing she and Wesley would continue being
separated for 1000 years…for the Martyrs will serve God in
heaven while survivors to the end reign remain on the earth.
Rev.7:14-17; Rev.2:25-26.
In Tim LaHaye’s book on "The Rapture", He states there is "no
clear purpose for the Church to be on the earth during the
tribulation". But the purpose for suffering will become clear.
Believers will know by their testimony that Jews are made
jealous and millions of the tribes of earth will beg for mercy.
Jesus revealed that, of the millions "left behind", one of every
twosome will be "kept alive" on the day He comes. Luke 17:30-33.
When Jesus said "no one knows the HOUR of His coming", He was
not referring to being taken to heaven to escape the
Tribulation; but to the Hour when one is taken and one left
after they survive the Tribulation! But until 1970
the scholars assumed the one "taken" will go to heaven
before the Tribulation!! Then they suddenly added that,
if they were saved and survived the Tribulation, they must again
be "left behind" to populate the Kingdom!!!
We have shown why both Rev.16:14-17 and Rev.6:14-17 refer to
the Day of God Almighty when He declares "It is Done". This
signals the Lamb to open Seal 6 for the Day of Wrath. God’s
endtime Judgments are not over the entire earth. The Hour of
Trial comes "suddenly, as a thief" only when armies gather to
the plains of Armageddon. Rev.16:15-17. During 5 Seals, 6
Trumpets and 6 Plagues the Beast will be killing the Saints! No
Believers die during Seal Six! As long as Believers suffer
martyrdom and the wicked could "repent", God’s wrath has not
arrived!! As long as Believers become Martyrs, there will be no
"Hour of Trial" for Believers to be "kept from" or for the Jews
to escape and be "kept alive"!!!
NO BELIEVER WILL DIE DURING THE HOUR OF TRIAL
If the Great Tribulation were the Hour of Trial, Trib-Saints
would be kept alive. If only pre-tribulation Saints are "kept
from the Hour of Trial", what is the persecution and martyrdom
from which Tribulation Saints will be kept by "overcoming to the
End"? Rev.2:26; Rev.3:10. What Scripture is there that even
suggests the "End" occurs prior to the Great Tribulation?
God’s wrath begins only after the last Martyr has been killed
and their killers have refused to "repent" during 6 Trumpet and
6 Bowl Judgments. Rev.6:9-11; Rev.9:20-21; Rev.16:6-11. The
Great Tribulation demonstrates that "God is holy and just in His
Judgments"! Rev.15:1; Rev.16:6. At the End Believers will be
kept from the Hour of Trial and only unbelievers who call on the
Lord and beg for mercy will be kept alive during
that Hour!! Luke 21:36; Luke 17:33. On the day of God’s wrath
Christ comes to "deliver every believer and in flaming fire to
take vengeance on all who know not God and who obey not the
Gospel"!!! 2 Thess.1:7-10.
THOSE LEFT BEHIND WILL SEE THE SAINTS COMING WITH JESUS
In the only direct reference to "the called, elect and
faithful" coming with the Lamb, He will destroy the armies of
Ten Kings gathered to make war against Him! Rev.17:14. Paul
writes that "all the Saints come with Christ"!! I Thess.3:13.
Millions seeing the Saints coming with Him are "blessed after
begging for mercy and to stand before the Son of Man"!!! Luke
21:36.
The last event mentioned in Revelation before "Heaven opens
and Christ descends to destroy the destroyers of earth" applies
to those about to be blessed by invitation to the Lamb’s wedding
Supper". Rev.19:9-11. Nine out of 11 verses from
Rev.19:1-11 begin with "AND"! This shows the
sequence of events immediately after the fall of the great
harlot Babylon!! Heaven rejoices at her fall and because the
Lamb’s Wedding "has come"…the 7th of ten things that
will occur on the Day of God’s wrath…and because the Hour of
Trial has come!!!
1. And those in heaven are summoned to REJOICE. Rev.18:20;
Rev.19:1-7.
2. And the bodies of the Martyrs must be RESURRECTED.
Rev.20:4-6.
3. And their loved ones will be RAPTURED from the earth. I
Thess.4:17; Mark 13:24-27.
4. And they are REUNITED at the "Synagogue in the Sky".
Matt.24:30-31; 2 Thess.2:1.
5. And Jesus brings His REWARDS "with Him for every Saint".
Matt.16:27; Rev.22:12.
6. And All Israel fills with RESENTMENT and REMORSE. Rev.1:7;
Rom.11:11; 11:25-26.
7. And, kept alive, they will be RESCUED to "stand before the
Son of Man". Luke 17:30-33.
8. And God's RETRIBUTION in Wrath destroys ALL who refuse to
repent. Rev.19:15.
9. And creation RELEASED from bondage; Paradise RENEWED.
Ezek.36:35; Joel 2:1-3.
10. And the RESTORATION of all things puts Israel at the head
of nations. Acts 3:21.
All these things take place "on one of the Days AFTER Great
Tribulation ends AND time shall no longer" be subject to an
exact countdown of prophetic days! Matt.24:29; Mark 13:24;
Rev.10:6-7. Events of that day begin with the sun turning
dark AND the whole moon to blood AND with stars falling from
heaven AND a great quake!! Rev.6:12-14. The HOUR
of Trial that no one knows in advance begins with Jesus
"gathering the Elect from the earth to the Sky"!!! (The Holman
Bible. Matt.24:36; Mark 13:27). Not all the Elect arise in the
same HOUR! God brings Enoch and 144,000 blameless Jews and the
Two Witnesses and souls of all the Martyrs with Jesus when
heaven opens on the "last day" and He fulfills the
above…including the SUPPER to which those in #6 and #7 are
invited!!!
CHRIST WILL NOT RETURN ON THE LAST DAY OF GREAT TRIBULATION!
Pre-Tribulation Rapturists reject the Post-Trib Rapture by
claiming we would know the exact day of Christ’s return in
advance. Jesus said the "Day and Hour" of His Presence will
occur "on a day after the great tribulation". To cover up
their inaccuracy of that day coming prior to the Tribulation,
they assume the Two Prophets finish demonstrating God’s Kingdom
Power during the first half of Daniel’s 70th Seven!
Instead, the Jews who flee to the desert will be protected and
fed by the Two Prophets during the entire great tribulation!!
Then, "after 3½ days", the final martyr will be killed and the
Two Witnesses will suddenly rise up to heaven on the "last day";
for all Believers must rise up on that Day!!! John 6:38-40,
44,54.
On the Last Day, 144,000 Jews will also be taken to heaven
before Christ appears in glory!
They are the "Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb and will
follow the Lamb wherever He goes" as soon as they are sealed with the Lamb’s name and rescued
after initial signs of the Day of Wrath occur!! Rev.7:1-8; Rev.14:1-5.
They and the Two Witnesses, taken to heaven "on one of the days
after the Great Tribulation, present the Son of Man to the
Ancient of Days" and appear in the Tribunal of Seal 7 to convict
those guilty of killing the Saints!!! Dan.7:13; Rev.8:1-5.
Only when…(1) the Last Martyr has been killed; (2) God has
demonstrated thru the Two Witnesses His kingdom power for 1260
days; (3) The Plagues manifest His deeds are holy and just; (4)
The wicked refuse to repent and (5) Gather to Armageddon…will
the Day of God’s wrath occur. Rev. 6:9-11; Rev.15:1, 4;
Rev.16:6, 9-11; Rev.6:12-17. Only then can anyone enter the open
Temple to praise God and the Lamb and witness the Court’s
Judgment and verdict that "God’s wrath has come". Rev.15:5, 8;
Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5; Rev.11:11-18.
HOUR OF TRIAL OCCURS AT CHRIST’S DESCENT
The Hour of Trial is time for the "Tribes of earth to mourn
and beg to escape God’s wrath"!
This Hour is the time all Israel will say: "Blessed is He
that comes in name of the Lord"!!
Wherever two are working in the field or mill, "one will be
taken and one will be left"!!!
To reject the Post-Trib Rapture view it is assumed the "one
who is left" refers to Believers left behind to populate the
Millennial Kingdom. It refers to all who are "willing to die and
who beg for mercy". Luke 17:33; Luke 21:36. Those "left behind"
cannot refer to Believers since "all the Saints accompany Jesus.
God will bring the souls of those who sleep in Jesus WITH Him at
His coming". Since the souls of Trib-Martyrs "come with Jesus,
those caught up to meet them in the air" refer to the Believers
who are "alive and remain" until the last day and hour! They are
"kept from the Hour of Trial" and will be glorified!! All who
beg for mercy will be left behind; but "kept alive during that
hour rather then being fed to the birds"!!! I Thess.4:13-17;
Rev.3:10-12; Luke 17:30-37.
GOD’S PURPOSE FOR TRIBULATION MARTYRS
The first meeting of Saints in heaven to praise God and the
Lamb for their salvation features countless Martyrs who come out
of great tribulation. Rev.7:9-17. For 1000 years they will
"serve God in heaven’s temple and the Lamb will lead them into
fountains of living water". They experience blessings of the New
Jerusalem for 1000 years before the rest of the Saints join
them. Saints who survive to the End will reign on earth while
Martyrs serve God and reign with Christ in heaven as "pillars in
the temple". Rev.2:26; Rev.3:12; Rev.7:15-17; Rev.20:4-6.
Martyrs win this special reward offered to the Church in
Rev.3:12 because they are willing to suffer in order to "make
Israel jealous" of Gentiles who serve their Messiah. They know
they must suffer to make the Jews envious. Rom.11:11. Giving the
Kingdom to Israel and removing their blindness, once the total
number of Gentiles has been saved, sets the stage for blessing
to all mankind! God’s Grace to the Gentiles is found over and
over in Romans!! Then mercy to Israel is found ten times in
Rom.9-11; first to Israel at Messiah’s coming and then to all
mankind!!! God calls Saints to suffer with Christ so as to
glorify Him. I Pet.2:21; Rom.8:17.
This truth of suffering for Christ is utterly ignored by
"Left Behind" books. April 3, the first day of Passover week,
was the date chosen to introduce the final Left Behind book of
God’s "Kingdom Come". They have mentioned nothing about Martyrs
"serving God in heaven" nor of showing mercy for 1000 years to
all mankind. Instead of those who survive to the End reigning
with Christ in glorified bodies, these books require Christians
to remain in their non-glorified bodies in order to raise
children to populate the kingdom of Israel on the earth.
They argue that no one with the "mark of the beast" can be
saved! They ignore the promise of God to show mercy to all after
demonstrating that Gentiles as well as Jews have rejected the
Gospel of grace!! Rom.11:32. They fail to see the ones with no
hope are the wicked who refuse to "repent" during 6 Trumpets and
6 Plagues of Judgment!!! Rev.9:20-21; Rev.16:9-11.
Tim LaHaye teaches the "blessed hope" applies only to
Pre-Trib Saints; not to surviving Trib-Saints; they will have
nothing but a "blasted hope" at Christ’s "Glorious Appearing".
Tit.2:13. My two sons married sisters who are not Believers. If
their wives are left behind at a Pre-Trib Rapture, they may be
saved and kept from going to Hell. But they would not be caught
up to meet their husbands unless Jesus keeps His promise to
"raise up all/every Believer from the dead on the last day and
to gather surviving Saints from earth to the meeting in the
sky"!
My daughters-in-law would be "left behind" a 2nd
time and denied the "glorification" that God promises every one
who believes! God has "called, justified and glorified" every
Believer!! Rom.8:30. What a let-down for everyone who is
faithful to the End if they are forced to bear more children who
in turn must be "ruled with an iron rod" for 1000 years!!!
Rev.2:26.
Here is a "double-take" on those left behind, i.e., those
"left behind" at a Pre-Trib Rapture and those "left behind" a 2nd
time at Christ’s coming. They are saved too late to be
glorified. These Believers would not be taken to meet Jesus in
the sky but left in their mortal bodies on earth. Tribulation
Martyrs will be resurrected, glorified and taken to heaven to
serve God! Believers who survive to the End are glorified and
God shows mercy to all of Israel!! God will then show mercy to
all men after Israel is made jealous by Believers whom He has
chosen and justified and glorified!!! Rom.11:32.
["Glorification" is in the past tense in Rom.8:30].
The greatest evidence that Christianity is the only true
religion is that Christ died and arose to save us and that,
being "heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, we suffer with
Him" and even forgive those who would take our lives away. A
story in "The Hope of Glory" tells of 3 young girls decapitated
by a Muslim extremist with one girl being left at the doorsteps
of a church! When the killer was caught and he confessed, the
mother expressed her forgiveness by giving him a hug!! The
overwhelming evidence since Stephen was martyred reveals that
Christians suffer and then forgive their enemies and glorify God
without hesitation!!!
Failed Arguments for Not Accepting A Post-Trib Rapture
Until the 1970’s the argument against a Post-Trib Rapture of
the Church to heaven was that only Pre-Trib Saints will be kept
from the "Hour of Trial". Rev.3:10. But does that period include
the Trumpets? They affect only a 3rd of earth and
mankind. Even the armies from the East will kill only a third of
mankind. Rev.9:15. Global catastrophes destroy all the wicked
only at the end. Not a single Christian will be left on earth at
the 2nd Advent! I Thess.3:13.
Since the early 70’s, after running out of arguments against
a Post-Trib Rapture, the "trump-card" emerged to eliminate its
possibility! Before 1970 those "left behind" were allegedly
non-Christians; but after 1970 only Believers would be "left
behind" to populate the earthly Kingdom!! It became too obvious
that Believers could not be left behind at the Rapture!!!
It is unbelievers who are left behind! They
must "stand erect, look up and pray to escape all things coming
on all the inhabitants of all the face of all the earth…on the
Day Christ comes in glory"! Luke 21:34-36. Escape applies to all
who mourn or beg for mercy!! They are "kept thru
the Hour of Trial" as Believers are "kept from
it"…for God would not glorify Saints if they must "pray to
escape all these things" and remain behind to populate the
Kingdom!!!
A third of Israel will survive great tribulation to enter the
Kingdom; so a third of mankind may be "kept alive" and a third
of Christians may survive "to the end" and rule over them. Say
there are 15 million Jews, 600 million Christians and 1200
million unsaved tribes of earth who enter the great tribulation.
A third of each group kept alive would leave 200 million
Christians and 5 million Jews to rule over 400 million of the
tribes of earth descended from Ishmael.
God requires Believers to die for Christ to make Israel
"jealous". Rom.11:11. He will not establish Israel’s Kingdom by
burdening victorious Christians with more travail in childbirth!
Gentiles who beg for mercy must come annually to Jerusalem to
worship God or receive no rain for their crops!! Zech.14:16.
From the offspring of these Gentiles will emerge the goat
nations over whom overcoming Saints will rule 1000 years "with
an iron rod"!!! Rev.2:25-26.
Martyrs will "serve God as Pillars in the temple of heaven
for 1000 years". Israel becomes the channel of blessing for
millions of Gentiles among the tribes of earth. If they treat
Jews as they would treat Jesus, they become the sheep nations
that inherit the Kingdom forever. The Saints finally inhabit the
New Jerusalem eternally while sheep nations inherit the earthly
Kingdom. Matt.25:32-34. "The Kings of the sheep nations will
bring their glory and honor into the New Jerusalem day or night"
forever after God creates the new Earth! Matt.25:31-46;
Rev.21:24-26; KJV. And so finally, after God shows mercy on
mankind for a thousand years, "the will of God shall be done on
earth as it is in heaven"!! God has called Believers to show
mercy and be willing to suffer for Christ so that all this might
glorify His name!!! Rom.8:17; I Pet.2:21.
Mankind will "know the Lord, from the least to the greatest"!
Heb.8:8-12. "The whole creation waits for the manifestation of
the Sons of God" and the promised release from the bondage of
corruption …"at the adoption, i.e., the redemption of our
bodies"!! Rom.8:19-23. The adoption will occur at the Last
Trump when every Believer who has died is changed from
corruption to incorruption and every Believer who survives is
changed from mortality to immortality"!!!
[Even the last Left Behind book includes "glorified"
Tribulation Martyrs]. I Cor.15:50-52.
"THY KINGDOM COME"
This book suggests God’s Kingdom comes when sheep and goat
nations are separated at the beginning of the Millennium rather
than at its end. In the introduction to the Kingdom, Tim LaHaye
sees three groups looking forward to eternal life, i.e., the
saved, the Jews as a nation being redeemed during the Hour of
Trial and the sheep nations after Christ separates them from the
goat nations. In addition, without distinguishing between
Christians and Jews on the one hand destined for the New
Jerusalem and the nation of Israel being "renewed" as His
earthly people, he sees the sheep and goat nations entering the
Kingdom with the Jews for a very short time until these two
groups of nations are separated from each other and the goats
sent to Hell.
There are two groups of people up to the Hour of Trial…the
saved and lost. There are only two groups who continue to choose
between God and Satan during Christ’s Millennial reign. The
sheep nations begin with those "left behind" and are finally
separated from the goats at the end of His reign based on their
treatment of the Jews. Matt.25:32-46. There are not three groups
of Saints (N.T., O.T and Trib-Saints) before the Millennium; nor
four groups to start the Millennium, i.e., the nation of Jews,
surviving Trib-Saints, sheep nations and goat nations.
Only on the "last day of the Millennium" does LaHaye finally
recognize the separation of lost and saved begins and continues
forever. The saved and lost exist together in this age and also
in the Kingdom on earth after Christ appears. Those who are
"left" and who see the increase of sheep nations during the
Kingdom reign will inherit the Kingdom on earth forever. LaHaye
creates the goat nations based on their treatment of Jews during
the Endtime great tribulation.
During the Endtime, only Christians will treat the Jews as
they would treat Christ Himself!
Christians will all be glorified; but Gentiles who beg for
mercy, and their offspring, will remain in mortal bodies during
the Millennium to populate the kingdom!! Christians "overcome to
the end of this age, and then reign with Christ over the nations
on earth", or else are martyred and "reign with Christ in heaven
and serve God as pillars in the Temple of heaven for 1000
years". The New Jerusalem becomes the eternal abode of those
written in the Lamb’s Book of Life"!!!
While the Saints reign with Christ on earth or in heaven for
1000 years, God will not penalize those who survive to the end
by forcing them to remain in their mortal bodies and suffer
travail in order to provide the goats over whom they "rule with
an iron rod" for 1000 years. Just as all who are of the "Holy
Temple in the Lord" include both Old and New Testament Saints,
so all of them will receive glorified bodies "at the adoption,
the redemption of the body"! They are "children of God and joint
heirs with Christ since they suffer with Him so as to be
glorified with Him; yet they have already been glorified" in the
sight of God!! Rom.8:17-30. Trib-Survivors, as well as
Trib-Martyrs, are members of the Body and Bride of Christ!!!
How is God glorified by excluding John the Baptist from the
Bride of the Lamb because he died before the Gentile Church
began at Pentecost? See "Kingdom Come". P.37. All Believers
constitute the Bride!! Rev.21:2, 9. Those who are "kept alive"
thru the Hour of Trial constitute the beginning of Sheep Nations
that "inherit the eternal Kingdom" coming to earth after the
Millennium!!! Matt.25:32-34; Rev.21:24-26; Rev.22:2, 14. KJV.

PERSONAL EVALUATION OF "KINGDOM COME"
Many will come to know Christ thru the Left Behind messages
of salvation…now and during the tribulation! We owe
Dispensational teaching the revival of belief in the Millennial
Reign of Christ…especially emphasizing that Israel, as a nation,
will become the channel of blessing for all nations!! God’s
future "covenant of peace with Israel is an everlasting
covenant"!!!
"The nations will know that I, the Lord, have sanctified
Israel, now that my
Sanctuary is in their midst forevermore". Ezek.36:23; 37:28;
38:23; 39:27.
LaHaye clarifies the purpose of millennial sacrifices is to
test obedience of the sheep nations! "No lamb will be slain at
Passover". But these nations develop during the Millennium
rather than the tribulation!! Treatment of Jews has nothing to do
with salvation during or at the end of the tribulation when
Christ appears!!!
The doctrine of those who launched the Reformation did not
recognize God’s future plan for Israel. That doctrine is
reflected in the teaching that no unbeliever who worships the
Beast can be saved during the Great Tribulation or on the Last
Day following its 1260-day countdown.
Dispensational doctrine falls short of recognizing that God
will be glorified among all the nations by showing mercy to all
who "beg to escape" God’s wrath and to "stand before the Son of
Man" during the Hour of Trial coming on all mankind on the Last
Day. Luke 21:34-36.
God’s purpose for earthlings to be "full of the knowledge of
the Lord" not only anticipates
God is righteous and holy and worthy of glory; but that
mankind, even at the restoration of Eden’s Paradise, will still show their rebellion and hopeless
estate apart from His grace! It is the extension of God’s mercy, for 1000 years, that leaves men
totally without excuse!! All those who "beg for mercy" will be
"kept alive" to populate and inherit the Kingdom forever!!!
LaHaye mentions nothing about the 1000-year reign of the
Martyrs with Christ in heaven who will "serve God as pillars in
the Temple and be led by the Lamb in fountains of living water…
while faithful Trib-Survivors reign on earth". If those who
survive are not among the "children of God who are glorified at
the redemption of our bodies" as promised by Romans 8:30; but
segregated and discriminated against for 1000 years; then the
hope of Endtime Believers is indeed "blasted" as Tim LaHaye has
taught for 37 years. Rev.3:12; Rev.7:14-17; Rev.20:4-6.]
RESULTS OF CHRIST’S RESURRECTION
1. Reason for the Exclusivity of the Christian Faith. "We
will never die". John 11:26.
2. Justification for the Defense of our Faith. All must come
to God thru Jesus. John 14:6.
3. Foundation for Victorious living and Certainty of Eternal
Life. Phil.3:10; I John 5:13.
4. Guarantee of Glorification for all of God’s children.
Rom.8:30.
5. Firstfruit of the Resurrection of all the Saints. I
Cor.15:20-23.
6. Basis for Establishing Israel as the channel of blessing
for all nations. Rom.11:25-32.
7. Promise of Deliverance for all creation from corruption at
the "adoption". Rom.8:19-23.
8. Anticipates the "Last Trump" at the 7th Trumpet
of Revelation. Rev.11:15-19.
9. Links all Believers thru the Last Martyr in the Lamb’s
Book of Life. Rev.13:8; Rev.17:8.
