GOD’S MYSTERY COMPLETED BEFORE THE 7th TRUMPET SOUNDS Five Catalysts of the Endtime
The Three-Act Temple Drama begins after the Beast’s armies
gather to Armageddon and God decrees: “It is
Done”. Two Acts, including Seal
7, take place before the Trumpets are described! Rev.7:9 -
Rev.8:5. In Act So again we see the prophetic texts, 250 verses from Rev.6:1 to Rev.20:6…over 60% of the Book of Revelation…are not written in chronological order; but revert over and over to events of the Lastday. The Last Trump reveals “God’s wrath has come” at 100 verses into this entire text! But 100 Lastday verses, 40% of this section, climaxes 5 Endtime Catalysts revealed in 3 of the 5 Flashbacks!! Each Flashback ends with multiple Lastday Events which in turn reveal 10 things “has come” as of the Lastday!!! (See note at the End showing Order of Events). Five Endtime Catalysts are coordinated by God’s purpose and intervention. They reveal His Judgments begin with Babylon’s fall. The apostate Restrainer of Evil must be removed. Babylon’s coming “Judgment” as the failed Restrainer occurs when it no longer has the ability to Restrain evil forces or deeds as required by Rom.13. Rev.17:1,8. God will employ the “hatred” of Ten Kings to destroy her in one hour and, by a 2nd Catalyst of “war in heaven” (Flashback #3), Michael and his angels will cast Satan and his angels to earth to begin the “restoration of all things” and complete the “Mystery of Israel…by demonstrating God’s Kingdom Power” against Mystery Babylon. In order to provoke them to jealousy, Christians must suffer with Israel. Acts 3:21; Rev.12:7-11; Rom.11:11. “Completing the Mystery of Israel” (Rom.11:25) requires 1260 Endtime days of great tribulation and the testimony of faithful Saints! This involves a 3rd Catalyst, the demonstration of God’s Kingdom Power (Flashback #3; Rev.12:10-17); and a 4th, sending His Two Witnesses from heaven to stand against those who persecute Israel and all who “keep God’s word and the testimony of Jesus”!! Rev.12:17 (Flashback #2; Rev.11:3-10). Satan’s Incarnation in Antichrist, and his desecration of the Jewish Temple, becomes the 5th Endtime Catalyst!!! [Flashback #3; Rev.13, follows the Temple worship of Rev.11:1]. My basic premise is that Lastday events begin with God’s decree, “It is Done”, immediately after armies of the Evil Trio gather to Armageddon. So Rev.16:12-17 precedes Rev.6:12-17. Flashback #4 (Rev.15:6 to Rev.16:14) precipitates these events as the wicked refuse to repent during the Plagues of God’s anger! The 5th Flashback (Rev.17:1 to Rev.18:19) includes Mystery Babylon’s ancient role; but her Pre-Endtime rule is described 4 chapters after the Beast’s Reign ends!! Then t he greatest quake in history destroys Babylon at Trump #7 as Plague #7 implodes with God’s wrath!!! The 1260 days that “complete God’s Mystery” (Rev.10:6-7; Rev.11:6-7) climax with the Beast killing the Two Prophets “whenever the Last Trumpet is about to sound”! But John pinpoints this killing, and that God’s wrath has come, 5 chapters before describing the fall of Mystery Babylon at Midweek!! Rev.16:18. The single 12-Hour Day of God’s Wrath under Seal 6 occurs within a few DAYS after the two are killed!!! [The 7th Plague remains suspended in the air until God’s “anger mixes full strength in the Cup of Wrath” at the 7th Trumpet. Rev.14:10; Rev.11:18. Babylon falls by fire 3½ YEARS before these two are killed]. TWO-FOLD PURPOSE OF THE 5TH FLASHBACK - Rev.17:1 to Rev.18:19 Babylon’s fall by fire is one of 5 Endtime Catalysts; but not described until Rev.17:8-17. This leads to my view that Paul refers to her fall as the “restrainer” (2 Thess.2) that must be removed before Antichrist may be revealed. Believers are not removed to heaven; but are prepared for the Endtime of 1260 days! Completing God’s Mystery concerns Mystery Babylon, Rev.17:5, and also the “Mystery of Israel”. Rom.11:25. Flashback #5 reveals the ancient role of Mystery Babylon which has pervaded 6 world empires of history...“a mystery already at work in Paul’s day”. Rev.17:1-10, 15. “Filled with the blood of prophets and saints”, the final world empire will be judged as a result of the re-emergence of that apostate rule over all nations for a “short time”! Rev.17:6; Rev.18:24. During her global reign all Believers should heed God’s command to “come out of her lest they partake of her sins and suffer from her plagues”! Rev.17:18; Rev.18:4. Babylon’s rule includes the first half of Daniel’s 70th Seven with peace that allows Israel to build the third Temple!! Her “rule over the kings of earth” is the time to liquidate debts to avoid losing investments when Ten Kings destroy the city”, confiscate the global System, turn their power over to Antichrist and subjugate mankind for 42 months!!! Rev.17:12-17; Rev.13:5-7. [All of this precedes the 7th Trumpet]. This first Endtime Catalyst (described last; Rev.17:8-16) will occur when these Ten Kings destroy Rome with fire in one hour! All Believers should be prepared for deprivations and persecutions! Those with abundance should share their means with the less fortunate! Rev.17:16-17; Rev.18:4. This Flashback is a very difficult passage to interpret. Mystery Babylon, the Harlot Woman, has or will resume “sitting on many waters, on 7 mountains and on the Beast”. Rev.17:1, 7, 9. She is a City; yet described as a System supported by “all peoples, nations, languages and kings”. Rev.17:15, 18. The Beast on which the Harlot sits (in its 7th phase) experiences sudden Catastrophe: “It was, is not, yet is about to ascend out of the Abyss”. Its 7th head suffers a fatal wound (Rev.17:8; Rev.13:3); then healed to initiate the final stage of the Beast-symbol’s existence as an “Eighth King”. Rev.17:11. The Catastrophe terminates the Harlot Woman’s “seat” on the Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. Before the Beast from the Abyss (not just a symbol) empowers the Antichrist, Mystery Babylon “rules the kings of earth a short time”. Rev.17:10, 18. The Beast, as a 7th World Empire, is the 4th Empire of Daniel (6th of 7 in Revelation) but it must be revived to be the one destroyed at Christ’s second coming. Dan.2:44-45; Dan.7:7-27; Rev.17:14; Rev.19:15. However, Mystery Babylon, the System, does not end at Midweek. The Beast and Ten Horns are personified. The Ten destroy Babylon by fire in one hour and receive authority as kings by giving their power to one indwelt by Satan via a demon from the Abyss! Rev. 11:7; Rev.17:8-13. God puts into their minds to agree and support Antichrist at this first Endtime Catalyst!! Babylon’s fall means the Harlot no longer sits on the beast-symbol of world power!!! Rev.17:8, 16; Rev.18:8-19. The popular interpretation of Rev.13:3 and Rev.17:8 claims Antichrist will be assassinated and then resurrected by Satan. This view distorts the symbolism which requires Babylon to rule the kings of earth and be destroyed by fire before the demonic Beast ascends from the Abyss. It ignores the struggles of the White Horseman whose appeasements lead up to the “rule of Mystery Babylon over the Kings of earth” in the first stage of the 7th World Empire. Rev.6:1-2; Rev.17:18. “Iron and clay do not mix” but the process will “retain the strength of the iron (Democracy)”. Dan.2:43. For that specific reason a break of time separates the fall of Babylon by fire (Rev.17:12-Rev.18:19) and by earthquake before the final rejoicing in heaven (Rev.18:20-Rev.19:3)! The 42 month Endtime separates the Catastrophe of Rev.17:8-16 and total destruction of City and System!! Rev.18:21-24; Rev.16:18-21. God “remembers her sins” twice; but the 2nd “remembrance” (Rev.16:19), recorded two chapters before the first one (Rev.18:5), proves Revelation is not written chronologically!!! The 5th Flashback reveals the rule of Mystery Babylon must occur for a “short time” before the Endtime begins as Ten Kings destroy her by fire in one hour! Her rule must precede the Endtime “cut short” from 1290 to 1260 days!! Matt.24:22; Rev.17:10. Her fall is one of the primary signals for knowing the Endtime has begun!!! [While Babylon as a System continues under the Beast, Believers fully understand the meaning of Rev.18:4 and the “nearness of the end”. Matt.24:33]. The first purpose of the 5th Flashback reveals the rule of Mystery Babylon will continue a short time before her destruction by fire launches Daniel’s “Endtime”! Dan.12:4-10. The second purpose shows the global network System under her rule being confiscated by Ten Kings and made subject to the rule of Antichrist “until the words of God are fulfilled”!! Rev. 17:17. The Ten Kings “eat her flesh”; but symbolically “heal” and continue the System of the Beast’s 7th Head under the rule of an Eighth King until God completes her destruction; both City and System!!! Rev.16:18-21. BABYLON “FALLS” BY GLOBAL QUAKES AT THE 7TH TRUMPET’S FIRST BLAST Babylon’s final global destruction (by earthquakes) is predicted at Rev.14:7-8 and fulfilled at Rev.16:18-21 and Rev.18:21-24. On the Lastday, Angels flying across the sky predict God’s Judgment on Babylon. Her fall by fire occurs 3½ years earlier; but this is described in the 5th Flashback. Her second fall is no part of a Flashback. The reason for this is that her final fall climaxes God’s “Hour of Judgment” (Rev.14:7-8) which is a twofold process of the “beast that was, is not, yet is”! The City falls; but the confiscated System removes the restraint to Antichrist and subjugates all mankind!! Mankind will worship Satan incarnate “until God’s words are fulfilled”!!! Rev.17:17. Popular teaching presents Antichrist as supporting religious Babylon until the symbolic wound is healed and he is resurrected as head of commercial Babylon. Rev.13:3. The wounding terminates the rule of Babylon; not the life of Antichrist! The Harlot rules before Satan indwells Antichrist as a demonic person!! The 7th Head represents two rulers…Babylon sitting on the Beast; then the Beast as the 7th Head on the symbolic animal is personified to represent an “Eighth King”!!! Rev.17:8-11. For that reason the “Mystery of Babylon” will not be “finished” until Christ destroys the entire System after it is confiscated as Satan’s instrument for subduing mankind! Believers are alert to God’s twofold Endtime Judgment on this City and System!! The command to “come out of her” will affect the lives of all of God’s people when they realize God’s Judgment is about to occur!!! One view claims Rev.17 describes religious Babylon at Rome and Rev.18 describes commercial Babylon in Iraq. Only one Babylon is destroyed by fire and finally by history’s greatest quake on the Day Christ appears. Both chapters describe her fall by fire and the global calamity to the economic structure. The changes affected by her fall do not end the System! The center of power and form of government change from Rome and Democracy to Jerusalem and global Tyranny at Midweek of Daniel’s 70th Seven!! All mankind must “worship the Beast and his image” and receive the number 666 in order to “buy and sell”!!! Rev.13:3-17; Rev.17:8. GOD’S KINGDOM POWER “COMPLETES THE MYSTERY OF GOD” All Five Endtime Catalysts Reach a Climax Prior to Trump #7 What I discovered on June 22, 1993 One week prior to the transfiguration of Jesus with Moses and Elijah on the Mount, Jesus spoke of what will happen when He is "about to come in glory". Matt.16:27. During that week Peter, James and John struggled with what He meant that, “when He is about to come in glory, some would not taste death, by any means, until they saw Him coming in His kingdom”. Matt.16:28. But in Mark Jesus spoke of seeing Him come in Kingdom Power! Mark 9:1. Jesus revealed He was not talking about them!! He had in mind Endtime Witnesses who must sacrifice their lives knowing their reward will be great!! Rev.12:10-11; Rev.3:12. “Some” will be prepared to sacrifice their lives “at the End” as faithful witnesses!!! Ten Kings destroy Babylon in one hour. Then God inspires them to support the Beast. They break the Covenant with Israel and subjugate mankind. Satan empowers the Beast. But God suddenly takes the Witnesses back to heaven after demonstrating His Kingdom Power 1260 days! Faithful Believers and this act of God will cause the Remnant of Israel to “Look up, Stand erect and beg to stand before the Son of Man”!! God’s “Mystery” is to prepare Israel to receive their Messiah!!! The 5 Endtime Catalysts launch the earthly clash between Satan and Christ and enable Believers to manifest God’s Kingdom Power against Satan and the Beast! Satan will be opposed by the Two Witnesses sent from heaven to “stand against the god of earth”!! Kingdom Power will not prevent the killing of Christians; but renders them faithful as the Two Witnesses protect and feed 144,000 chosen Jews in the “times of restoration of all things”!!! Rev.11:4; Zech.4:11; Rev.12:10. The goal for “completing God’s Mystery” is twofold: End the “Mystery of Blindness to Israel” and destroy Mystery Babylon’s influence over the nations forever. Two thirds of Israel perishes in the process. Zech.13:9. From the Lastday 144,000 Jews, “Firstfruits unto God and the Lamb follow Him wherever He goes”. They “present the Son of Man (by the Song of the Lamb) to the Ancient of Days” on the Lastday…after the Lamb rescues them from Mt. Zion. Dan.7:13; Rev.14:3; Rev.15:3. Death of the Two Witnesses indicates the Mystery of God “was finished” just days before the End. Rev.10:6-7; Rev.11:7-14. Their resurrection and ascent to heaven, seen by millions, signals the time has come for the Drama in Heaven’s Temple! The terrified remnant in Jerusalem will give God glory knowing the events of the Lastday have begun! I am convinced by Luke that God will prepare Israel to receive Messiah when He appears in glory! Believers “know the end is near” when the Lawless One ends Israel’s worship in the third Temple!! Rev.11:2; Rev.6:3-4. But Jesus anticipated Israel will embrace Him because of faithful Christians and signs of the Day of the Lord; and by “knowing their redemption and kingdom are near” when He appears that Day”!!! Luke 21:28-32; Luke 17:30. At each occurrence of the things happening” on the Day of God’s Wrath, from the spectacle of sealing and delivering 144,000 Jews on Mt. Zion…to the dazzling messages of judgment flashing across the sky…to the sudden resurrection and snatching away of the Two Prophets from earth to heaven, the sun continues its darkened shroud and the evidence mounts that the Mystery of Israel’s Blindness is finished! I would not be surprised if Israelis literally hear the “great trump of God summoning the angels to gather the Elect from all of the sky’s extremities”!! Matt.24:31 (Mark 13:27; Holman Bible). While Jesus “gathers the Elect together above”, the Jews “Stand Erect, look up and, at each time”, as the knitting of the tapestry weaves the final prophetic stitches before their eyes, “they beg to escape all these things and to prevail to stand before the Son of Man”!!! Luke 21:36. FOCAL POINT FOR UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION For me the best way to understand the Book of Revelation is from the viewpoint of “all things that happens” on the Lastday. Luke references Jesus’ use of these words for the final Jewish Remnant to “know their redemption and the kingdom of God are near”. “Verily I say to you” (to those of Israel’s Remnant in the days after the End of great tribulation): “This generation shall not pass away until ALL things happens”. Luke 21:28-32. Luke’s perspective relates to the final Jewish Remnant’s expectation of Messiah’s coming! The Believers’ faithfulness comes from “knowing the End is near” for all 42 months with the Abomination in the holy place”!! But Luke zeroes in on events after the “days of vengeance and wrath for the Jews are finished”!!! Luke 21:22,32. Luke’s unique concern centers on the final things fulfilled that had been “written regarding this people” after suffering God’s wrath and vengeance since AD 70! Luke is not concerned about the Antichrist; but about Jesus having urged them to “Stand Erect, look up and beg to prevail to stand before the Son of Man when they see these things happening”!! Luke 21:28-36. John’s focal point, in Revelation, is exactly the same…what occurs on the Lastday in the “restoration of all things”!!! This fact is supremely evident in the abundant use of the past tense relative to the main events of the Lastday itself! Five Endtime Catalysts and all five Flashbacks climax with Lastday events!! On that single day, of the ten things that “has come”, each is referenced using the past tense!!! (Please see final page below for the list of ten things that “has come” during the single Day of God’s wrath). With Seal Six, 7 classes of men, hiding in the mountains, recognize that God’s “Day of Wrath has come”! Even the signs in the sun, moon and stars and a great earthquake are referenced in the past tense to show the events of that Day had already begun!! John sees the 144,000 Jewish Firstfruit being sealed “after this”…but on the same Lastday…on one of the days after the great tribulation because “God’s Mystery was finished”; the Plagues had finished God’s patience and the “End had Come”!!! Rev.7:1-8; Rev.10:7; Rev.15:1; Rev.16:17 (gegonen; perfect past tense with continuing results for the completion of God’s Mystery and the end of Israel’s Mystery of Blindness). Three times John uses the unique phrase, “after these things, I looked and behold”. The first time follows the “things that were”. Rev.4:1. The others refer to what occurs in the Three-Act Temple Drama after the Martyrs and 144,000 Jewish Firstfruits “present the Son of Man to the Ancient of Days” with songs of Moses and the Lamb. Dan.7:13; Rev.14:3; Rev.15:3. The Drama begins “after these things” at Rev.7:9! The Drama is described from Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5; Rev.11:15-19!! This intense Drama occurs in the open Temple immediately after Rev.14:1 to Rev.15:5. At its beginning the Martyrs are praising God and the Lamb eight chapters before they first appear in the presence of God and the Lamb!!! [Rev.7:9-11 answers Rev.6:9-11 and climaxes with Trump #7]. The Mighty Angel told John: “Chronos-Time would no longer” be subject to a countdown “in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound.” So the great tribulation ends before the 7th Trumpet sounds…with 3½ days remaining after “God’s Mystery was finished”. At the 7th Trumpet, again on the Lastday, the 7th Angel announces (in the past tense) that “God’s wrath has come”. Only with the Last Trump does the angel announce the “appointed time has also come to judge (raise up) and reward the prophets and saints and to destroy those destroying the earth”! The Angel adds that “God has begun to reign”…still using a past tense!! Rev.11:17-18. But John concludes with the future tense: “The Lamb will shepherd the nations with an iron rod!!! Rev.19:15. REJOICING PRECEDES THE THREE R’S: RESURRECTION, REWARDS, RETRIBUTION At the “appointed time for Resurrection, Rewards and Retribution”, the 7th Trumpet completes 64 of 100 verses fulfilled on the Lastday. Babylon falls a 2nd time by history’s greatest quake. That city splits in three parts, symbolically destroyed with a great bolder cast into the sea! Rev.18:20-24. Saints in heaven rejoice because God has again “remembered her sins” (remembrance of Rev.18:5 precedes that of Rev.16:19)!! The “smoke of her destruction rises up forever and ever”!!! Rev.19:1-3 The moment Trump #7 sounds that “God’s wrath has come” (Rev.11:18), the Cup of Wrath will be poured out on Babylon, both City and System! Rev.16:18-21. At the climax of Seal 7’s verdict of guilt by the Angel of Fire (Rev.8:5), the 7th Angel makes one of 3 sounds of the Last Trump…for God’s “anger has just mixed with His wrath in the Cup of Wrath”!! This terminates the time for Plague #7 to remain suspended in the air; it implodes with God’s Cup of Wrath!!! Rev.16:18-21. Jesus refers to the “trial coming suddenly, like a snare, on all the inhabitants on all the face of all the earth at His coming like a thief in the night”. Luke 21:34-35; Rev.3:10-11; Rev.16:15. Paul explains what happens at His coming as a thief. I Thess.5:2-3. Paul does not refer to 3½ years of Tribulation or to the Beast killing the Saints…but to “birth pangs of renewal for all of creation as the Sons of God are manifested…at the redemption of our bodies”! Rom.8:19-23. Earth’s cities and mountains disappear and islands move out of place during the Hour of Trial!! Every Believer and all who beg for mercy escape that Hour or are “kept alive” thru that Hour!!! Luke 17:33; Luke 21:36; Rev.3:10. The “First Resurrection” in Rev.20:4-6 concludes the 100 verses in the text of Revelation regarding Lastday Events. [Rev.20:7-15 describes events after the 1000 years]. Here John switches from the Past Tense…“they lived and reigned with Christ” (Aorist Indicative; Rev.20:4)…using the Aorist Subjunctive for what is still future; Rev.20:5). “The rest (unbelievers) lived not until the 1000 years should be finished”! John concludes with a Future Tense: “Blessed are those who take part in the First Resurrection: they shall reign 1000 years with Christ (in the Temple of Heaven for the Martyrs; and on the earth for those in the Church who “overcome to the End”)!!! Rev.20:4-6; Rev.2:25-26. Amazingly, this mini-flashback reference to the “souls of those beheaded for Christ” uses the Past Tense to indicate “they sat on thrones as JUDGES”! They had taken part in the Tribunal of Seal Seven resulting in the Verdict of Guilt and the “mixture of God’s anger full strength in the Cup of His Wrath”!! For the Cup of wrath had poured out its wine to fulfill Rev.14:10 and Rev.16:18-21 as soon as the Last Trump announced that “God’s wrath had come”!!! Rev.11:18. John proves, in Rev.7:14-17; Rev.20:4-6, that the First Resurrection is Post-Tribulational by 3½ days or more after the Two Witnesses are killed. Martyrs “out of the great tribulation will serve God in heaven’s Temple 1000 years”; the Age to come! “There will be no Temple in the New Jerusalem coming down over the new earth” after 1000 years!! Rev.21:22. The mini-flashback to “souls sitting on thrones to Judge” must be part of “all things that happens” on the Lastday!!! Luke 21:32-36. The Last Trump sounds for the Coronation of Christ. Then two more times in quick succession to fulfill what occurs as Heaven Opens! “God’s wrath had come and the appointed time for Rejoicing, Resurrection, Rewards and Retribution”!! Sixty-four of 100 verses are fulfilled before “the Hour begins from which all Believers are kept because they patiently endure to the End”!!! Rev.3:10-11. ONE HUNDRED VERSES FULFILLED IN SIX HOURS Fifty of 100 verses in Revelation are fulfilled on the Lastday before the Tribunal of Seal 7 convenes! They include the Praise to God and the Lamb by all the Saints in Act One of the Temple Drama…the first time in history that all the Saints in heaven stand in the Presence of God and the Lamb!! The Drama continues with the sun dark over Israel from noon to twilight!!! Amos 8:9; Zech.14:6-7. The final fifty verses guarantee the “Hour of God’s Judgment” after all the Martyrs “sit as Judges” at the Tribunal of Seal 7. The Angel of Fire renders the Verdict and there are three back-to-back references to the Storm Theophany showing that God’s “great anger” has mixed fully in the Cup of His wrath! Rev.14:7, 10; Rev.20:4; Rev.8:1-4. Martyrs sit in Judgment followed by three references to the Theophany: Rev.8:5; Rev.11:19; Rev.16:18: “There were voices, flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, a great quake…and great hail"!! Rev.11:19; Rev.16:21. “On this unique day, known only to the Lord, neither day nor night, the light will return at twilight”!!! Zech.14:7. (See chart below). EACH OF TEN THINGS “HAS COME” DURING THE LAST DAY AND LAST HOUR “The great Day of God Almighty" occurs on one of the Days after 1260 Days of Great Tribulation! 1. Day of Almighty God’s and the Lamb’s Wrath “has come” - Rev.16:14; Rev.6:16-17. 2. Hour of Judgment on Babylon “has come” - Rev.14:7-8; Rev.16:18-21; Rev.18:20-24. 3. Hour to Reap the Earth and the grapes of wrath “has come” - Rev.14:15-19. 4. Great Multitude “has come” out of great tribulation - Rev.7:14. 5. Angel of Fire “has come” to Altar before God in Act Two of Temple Drama - Rev.8:3. 6. Wrath of God “has come” - Rev.11:18. Heaven immediately Rejoices - Rev.18:20. 7. Wedding of the Lamb “has come”; more rejoicing and exultation - Rev.19:7-8. 8. Resurrection - Appointed time to “judge the dead has come” - Rev.11:18; Rev.19:11-15. 9. “Rewards to prophets, saints and all who fear God has come” - Rev.11:18; Matt.16:27. 10. Retribution to those “destroying the earth has come” - Rev.11:18; Rev. 19:15-21. Numbers 6 and 7 begin with W - God’s Wrath and the Wedding of the Lamb “has come”. Heaven Rejoices over Babylon’s destruction and Saints prepare for their wedding to the Lamb. Numbers 8-10 give the three R’s: Resurrection, Rewards to Saints; Retribution to the wicked.
