The Purposes for a Literal 1000-Year Earthly Kingdom

Blessed and holy is he who participates in the 1^st Resurrection (5^th Blessing). The saved nations shall walk

in the light of the New Jerusalem (after the Millennium) and bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates will never

be shut during the day as there will be no night there. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing of the

nations. Blessed are the (nations) that do His commandments. They have authority to the Tree of Life

and may go into the New Jerusalem (at any time; 7^th Blessing). Rev.20:6; Rev.21:24-27; Rev.22:2,14.     

Last month’s article revealed the transition to the Inner Concentric Path occurs at the 7^th Trumpet, the time “appointed”

for God’s wrath as well as Resurrection and Rewards to the Saints. Satan’s armies are gathered to Armageddon and

“incarcerated in the winepress of great anger” at Plagues 6 and 7 while Seals 6 and 7 open for the Day of Wrath and

Trial of the Wicked. Since the Day (Seals 6 & 7) and Hour for Wrath (Plague 7 and Trump 7) occur “after great tribulation”,

six Trumpets are already history and are put on display in Seal 7 to indict the wicked in the open Temple Court Trial

(at Rev.Rev.15:5 and Rev.7:9). The great tribulation was finished prior to the 6^th Seal. Outer and Middle Concentric Path

events occur while the armies of the 6^th Plague are incarcerated! God’s Day of wrath begins at Seal 6; the Hour of Wrath

begins at the 7^th Trumpet!   

The 4^th of 7 things “has come” as the Martyrs learn they will reign in heaven for 1000 years. The Day of Wrath begins and

Hour of Judgment and Hour to Reap are announced before the Martyrs praise God in the open Temple of Rev.7:9. The

FIRST purpose of the Millennium is for these Martyrs, “coming out of great tribulation”, to inhabit heaven’s Temple for 1000

years before the New Jerusalem “comes down upon a new earth”. Few seem to realize the change of permanent residency

from earth to heaven, except for the Martyrs, occurs after the Kingdom Rule on earth undergoes a final “deception of nations

by Satan” at the end of the 1000-Year Reign of Christ!   

The SECOND purpose is for an earthly Kingdom for descendants of those “kept alive” when Christ comes from heaven

for/with all the Saints, even those who survive great tribulation. Peter preached that “Jesus must remain in heaven until the

times of restitution of all things”. Acts3:21. The KJ Bible is the best source to reveal the restoration of Paradise on earth

involves two stages!

The KJV shows the saved nations “blessed” eternally for “keeping God’s commandments”. Rev.22:14.   

Peter did not indicate the restoration results in God’s will being done on earth immediately as it will be done in heaven during

eternity. “Times” of restoration begin with “It is done” (3^rd person singular; Rev.16:17). But all things are completed 1000 years

later at a 2^nd “It is done” (3^rd person plural; Rev.21:6). The Kingdom first fulfills His purpose with earth restored to its Adamic

pre-cursed condition; but not yet with a completely New Earth. God speaks finally to destroy the last enemy, death, by saying:

“All things are done” and the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven as the eternal dwelling place for the Lamb’s Bride and

for access by the nations. Rev.21:2, 9, 24.  The 1^st decree from the Throne, “It is done”, comes out of the Temple. Rev.16:17.

At the 2^nd decree, the Temple no longer exists. Rev.21:6,22.

The 1^st decree (perfect tense at the end of this present age) employs a 3^rd person singular because it’s the first of two stages

to “restore all things and destroy the last enemy”. Paradise Restored allows mankind (kept alive at the second coming) to begin

to live forever just as Adam could have before he rebelled against God. Paul links the 1^st stage with “redeeming our bodies and

manifesting the sons of God and removing the curse from the earth”. This happens at the “adoption, i.e., the redemption of our

bodies”. Rom.8:17-22.

The sufferings of this present age continue until the Bride of Christ is completed. He then comes to redeem His former people

and create conditions under which their eternal kingdom will be fulfilled. The purposes of the Millennium must be fulfilled before

the last enemy is destroyed!

Paul reveals the two primary purposes will be fulfilled after the “fullness of Gentile times has come in”. All (ethnic) Israel will then

be saved and God will begin to show mercy to all mankind. God first demonstrates that both Gentiles and Jews have disobeyed

and rebelled against Him under separate dispensations. But, echoing the sentiments of Isaiah 55:7-9, Paul concludes we have

not yet realized God’s future plan is to “show mercy to all”! Rom.11:25-36.

Present sufferings continue as God manifests His grace to a chosen people as the Lamb’s Bride.   His wedding to this people,

both OT and NT Saints, is the 7^th of 7 things that “has come” on the last day. With His former people restored and the curse

removed but for the wages of sin, Death, paradise restored paves the way for billions to inherit earth and be healed by the

"leaves of the Tree of Life”. KJV reveals the eternal 7^th “blessing for saved nations”. Rev.21:24; Rev.22:2,14.

Christ reigns in our hearts until He removes the curse of sin from our bodies; the 1^st Resurrection. “Our sufferings”, even with

creation cursed and subject to vanity and travail, “are not worthy to be compared with the glory about to come at the adoption,

i.e., the redemption of our bodies”. The “1^st Resurrection”, Blessing #5, is made directly to the Martyrs to introduce the Millennium!     

Creation’s deliverance from bondage eagerly awaits the “Manifestation of the sons of God”. 

That is our Blessed Hope, especially those who “survive to the End”. The promise of John 14:3 for us to dwell with Jesus in heaven

applies in the Millennium only to those “beheaded for keeping the testimony of Jesus and the word of God”. Martyrs “reign with Jesus

for 1000 years and the Lamb leads them to springs of living water and they shed no more tears while serving God as Pillars in

heaven’s Temple”. Rev.20:4-6; Rev.3:12; Rev.7:14-17. While this is not the primary purpose for the Millennium, it shows the necessity

for Christ to reign 1000 years to bless all those resurrected at a 1^st “gegonen” (Rev.16:17); and then finish “restoring all things” at a 2^nd

“gegonan”. Rev.21:6.  

Paul concludes in I Cor.15:54 that “death for us is swallowed up in victory at the instant of immortality for all who survive to the End;

and the instant of incorruption for all who die in the Lord. We shall not ALL sleep, but shall ALL be changed in a moment, in an

eye-glance at the Last Trump, at Christ’s Presence”. On a day after the great tribulation, at The Sign of Christ’s Coming in the sun,

moon and stars, the Last Trump sounds a 2^nd time for Jesus to bring the souls of the Saints from heaven and raise and gather their

bodies from the earth; and then sounds a 3^rd time for angels to gather the Elect to Himself. As we are gathered together above for

the Lamb’s wedding, prior to the wedding supper, millions of eagles will also be “gathered and summoned to the great supper of God”!

Rev.19:7-9,17-18,21; Mark 13:24-27; Matt.24:27-31; Luke 17:27-37.   

Do you wonder why Jesus mentions “eagles gathered” in Matt.24:28 as a sign of His coming? He appears on or near the full moon

day of Tishri 15 at the Feast of Tabernacles. Zech. 14:16. Just before Christ becomes King of all nations, 500 million birds (35 species

including eagles, storks, pelicans and cranes) will migrate over Israel’s narrow air space from Europe and West Asia. The Israeli

Government reports that on one day, October 8, 2005 (Tishri 5), 30,000 Stork flew over Jerusalem. Yearly 20,000 cranes winter in the

Hula Valley of Northern Israel. EMC2 has donated a million dollars for bird study. Eighty-five percent of the global migration of birds,

including imperial eagles, great spotted eagles and short-tailed eagles, migrate across Israel in the month of Tishri at harvest time.

“The Sign” of Christ’s coming sees birds summoned to eat the fleshes of 7 kinds, including horses. Their “blood will be pressed in

the winepress to the height of horses’ bridles, trampled under God’s and the Lamb’s anger + wrath”! Rev.14:10,19-20; Rev.19:15.

Armies gathered to Armageddon are part of “The Sign of Christ’s coming as a thief”! This is the time to shackle Satan. Rev.16:15-16.

While men say “peace and safety”, then sudden destruction occurs as Satan’s armies invade Israel and the Beast kills the Two

Prophets with great fanfare and a couple days of global celebrations. Rev.11:7-10. God’s anger is exhausted as the Court of

Judgment convenes in the Temple. The Voice from the Throne, “It is done”, reveals the End had come (perfect tense). It begins

events of the Day of Wrath and its Outer and Middle Paths leading to the 7^th Trumpet. These paths climax with God’s “Hour of Wrath”

in one 12-Hour Day! The Last Plague of God’s anger suspends in the air only until the Last Trumpet sounds.

Why Satan must be imprisoned during the Millennium

Those who blaspheme God’s name and refuse to repent or “call on the Lord to be saved” are targets of His wrath. Satan must be

imprisoned and a rule of iron imposed before men are induced to worship God alone. The wicked must be wiped off the face of the

earth and Satan bound prior to the “restoration of all things”. God’s ways are not man’s ways. Rom.11:33.

The Reformed Doctrine of Last Things does not recognize Satan banished to the Abyss while we rule over the nations for 1000 years

so that all men will “know the Lord, from the least to the greatest”. We need to realize the “New Covenant” for Israel to bless all nations

must be fulfilled during the Millennium only, with Satan incapacitated! Three times in Rev.20 we find that God’s purpose for the nations

can only be realized while Satan is bound in the Abyss. Martyrs will rule with Christ in heaven and Satan bound for 1000 years until the

last enemy shall be destroyed forever. “At the 2^nd death, death and Hades will be cast into Hell”. Rev.20:14-15. Those whose names

are in the Lamb’s Book of Life include the “nations saved” during the Millennium. They will have kept God’s commandments and will

visit heaven from the earth. “They have authority to be healed by leaves of the Tree of Life”. Rev.21:24-27; Rev.22:2,14.

It is not the Church’s task during this present age to see “ten Gentiles asking a Jew to take them to Jerusalem annually to worship the

King” and thus become subjects of God’s earthly kingdom. Zech.8:23. God removes the wicked from earth to show mercy to all

mankind under the blessings of Paradise restored and conditions in which the “goat nations” will not be gathered by Satan until he is

loosed to make war against the Saints at Jerusalem. Only then, after the Millennium, will Satan be cast into Hell and the “last enemy,

death, be destroyed”! Rev.20:7-15; I Cor.15:24-26. 

The popular interpretation of the “sheep and goat nations” assumes Jesus will separate them at the start of the Millennium. This

concept prevails because believers are taught that the last day offers “no chance for salvation” when Christ appears in glory. Jesus

taught that “one of every two” will be “kept alive” at His Presence. A ⅓ of His former people will “beg to escape and prevail to stand

before the Son of Man and be kept alive”. Luke 21:36; Luke 17:33. Half a billion descendants of Ishmael’s 12 Tribes may call on the

Lord and be among the “saved nations”!  Rev.21:24; KJV.  

          Who Populates the Eternal Kingdom on Earth?

The “Left Behind” fiction books’ proposal that God will destroy all unbelievers when Christ appears leaves no one that needs to be

“ruled with an iron rod”. Yet “overcomers to the End” will be the iron-rod rulers of the Millennium. Rev.2:26-27. Only after 1000 years

will Abraham’s natural descendants be blessed in number as great as the “stars of heaven” and numbers like the “sand of the sea”

will come against the Saints only at the End of the Millennium. Rev.20:8.

Suppose 20 million Believers were kept in their mortal bodies to populate the Kingdom. As the Left Behind books might allow. Their

number would increase to only 200 million in 100 years! But two billion subjects at the start of the Millennium would produce two

countless groups, one called Sheep Nations to inherit the eternal kingdom on earth and the other made up of countless numbers of

Goat Nations whom Satan deceives for a short time. Then God casts the goats to Hell and fulfills His 2^nd decree, “All is Done” by

creating a New Heaven and Earth!  Rev.21:1-6.

Have you wondered about the difference between billions and trillions? If you earned $100 every second for one day it would amount

to over $8 million in 24 hours. But it would take 317 years to earn a trillion dollars. Or consider that a million seconds equals about 12

days. A billion seconds would equal about 32 years. But a trillion seconds boggles the mind requiring 32,000 years.

I am troubled about how a countless number of goats at the end of 1000 years could come from 20 million surviving believers. Two

billion repentant unbelievers “kept alive” would do what the Left Behind concept of 20 million Christians cannot do. Believers must be

“caught up to meet the dead in Christ” instead of being denied immortality after “overcoming to the End”. Rev.2:25-27.  

The self-righteous unsaved nations, like the “sand of the sea”, will fulfill Rev.20:8 at the End of the Millennium! Perhaps the Left Behind

 books will *speculate* a possibility of God resurrecting billions at the first resurrection who never heard the Gospel and they remain in

their mortal bodies to populate the kingdom on earth!? This is thinking as a finite person with scant knowledge of why “God’s ways are

not man’s ways”.  Much has not been revealed. 

Starting the Millennium with 20 million Christians would take thousands of years to produce a trillion “goats” since their children would

be taught to worship God. But 2 billion who repent the “last-minute” could produce two trillion people in one Millennium. With 2 billion of

our present population killed in the 6^th Trumpet, and half of the remaining 4 billion left to populate the earthly Kingdom, the sheep after

 1000 years would be as numerous as “the stars of heaven” and the “goats as numerous as the sand of the sea”.  

In the 7^th Seal “no man can count the number coming out of Great Tribulation”. So the ones ruled with a rod of iron during the Millennium

could produce another countless number for Satan to deceive. God will bless humanity after 4500 years of re-population since Noah.

At Satan’s release for a short time, numbers like the “sand of the sea” will again be vulnerable to Satan’s deceptions.           

Not only do OT and NT scriptures reveal God’s eternal plan requires the Millennium but Jesus told the disciples in part how this plan

will be inaugurated. Of each “Twosome” working in the fields or at the mills, one will be “left” (kept alive) to enter the earthly Kingdom.

This reveals that hundreds of millions turn to Christ when “the wicked are destroyed on the Day He comes”. Luke 17:27-33. 

This also refutes the theory that God will not forgive unbelievers who repent at the last moment. In the 4^th and 7th blessings of

Revelation, God prepares to “bless” all the nations thru Abraham. Rev.19:9; Rev.22:14. The Bride of the Lamb will be completed

thru Christ, the seed of Isaac. Gen.26:4. But Abraham’s natural seed includes descendants of the 12 tribes of Ishmael. The

Apostles will rule them (and 12 tribes of Israel) because the 12^th Imam Muslims expect will be the Messiah of Israel. Matt.19:28;

Matt.24:30.

The final "blessing" of Revelation sees nations inheriting an eternal earthly kingdom.  Matt.25:32-34; Rev.22:2,14; KJV. "They

bring their glory and honor into the New Jerusalem and are forever healed by the leaves of the tree of life". The healing sets

nations apart from the Bride of the Lamb. The nations forever continue a millennial provision of healing by the “leaves” of the
