WEEK #70

DANIEL'S FINAL SEVEN YEARS

Have I created a problem in Bible interpretation by stating that God overlaid 69 Sets of 2520 days upon 68 Sets of solar sevens?  The secret of the 70 Sevens is not based on 365-day years and yet  is hidden in the overlay of 30-day months upon a solar calendar.   The exact preciseness of the countdown of 2520 days rests in the fact that only a set of  84 successive months of 30 days allows and forces any day of a given month to repeat on the same day of the week just once every seven years or 2520 days. (360x7=2520 days).

For Biblical countdown time, Daniel predicts 7 cycles with 84 thirty-day months in each cycle (7x12=84x30=2520 days). Daniel foresaw all but 21 days of 69 Biblical sevens (69x7x360=173,880 days) fulfilled in 68 solar sevens (68x7x365.25=173,859) from BC 445 to AD 32. The "appointed Day" of Luke 19:42 (Palm Sunday) was 173,859 days from the decree to rebuild the walls and restore the city of Jerusalem beginning at Nisan 30, BC 445. Overlaid upon continuous 30-day months, exactly 68 solar cycles of 365¼ days ended on Palm Sunday, Nisan 9, AD 32...21 days short of 69 Biblical cycles. 

The importance of this fact will be realized at the Endtime so that Believers will know the final 2520 days will be finished to the exact day when the Two Prophets are killed by the Beast. Then the Lastday will be one of their 3½ days of death. I finally saw that:

The total significance of the Seven's Coded Secret rests on the following facts.

1.Every 84th month was the month of Nisan with Passover on Friday, the 14th.
2. But Nisan, until month #84, did not begin on a SABBAT; nor was the 14th a Friday.
3. Every 84th month began with Nisan 1 on a SABBAT and Passover on Friday the 14th.
4. Every 7th year ended with Nisan beginning on Saturday---a SABBAT.
5. Every 2,520th day was an anniversary of the original decree on Nisan 30---a Sunday.
6. Every 12th month began a New Year with Nisan as its first month.
7. The final month in the countdown of each Set of Seven began on Saturday and ended on Sunday for the only time in that entire period.
8. Each 84th month, being Nisan, was the first month of a New Year and a new Set of Seven.
9. Every Set of Seven began and ended on the basis of Nisan having begun on Saturday, day one, so that Passover and the Day of Preparation occurred on a Friday, Nisan 14, followed by SABBAT!

The Hebrew calendar always comes into sync with the Gregorian Calendar every 19 years with the periodic insertion of seven 30-day months. And so it was, after 25x19 (475 years) sets of insertions from Tishri 1, New Year's day of BC 445 to New Year's day of AD 31, only one year was needed to complete 69 sets of Biblical Sevens within 68x7 sets of 365¼ day Solar Sevens (476 years). That extra year was made up by about  150 days from Nisan 14 of 445 BC to Tishri 1 of that year plus about 215 days (for a total of 365 days) from Tishri 1 of AD 31 to Nisan 14 of AD 32. Tishri 1 was the date of Christ's birth as presented each year in 600 planetariums around the globe.

However, the 68 sets were 21 days short of Nisan 30 to force the prophecy to be fulfilled on the exact date of Palm Sunday, Nisan 9. The Jewish leaders could have known the prophecy of Daniel 9:26a (first of 3 parts of that verse) was fulfilled on "that very day" as lamented by Yeshua in Luke 19:42. Christ was crucified five days "after" that on Nisan 14 to fulfill Dan.9:26.

That day was the "appointed time for the visitation" (Luke 19:44) of Messiah the Prince, the one who rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey to the shout of "Hosanna to the son of David; Hosanna in the highest." Zech.9:9. On that day Yeshua wept and prophesied the second part of Dan.9:26 would be fulfilled as it was in AD 70. Another appointed day is coming, following the desolations to the end of time (part 3 of Dan.9:26) when "Every eye will see Him and all those who pierced Him, having believed, coming with Him in the clouds." This time the remnant of the House of David will mourn. Rev.1:7; Zech.12:10.

ONE: The prophetic and Jewish computations both related to God's command to keep Passover on the 14th of Abib (Nisan) in the 1st month of each year as given to Moses. Ex.34:18; Deut.16:1; Lev.23:5. To maintain Passover observance correctly, the Jews keep Passover in the spring of each year by inserting seven extra 30-day months in their lunar calendar during every nineteen-year period. It's a required adjustment. Consistent spring observance is not possible in a Gregorian calendar of 365¼ days.  

TWO: Daniel needed only to overlay the solar (365¼-day) count upon a continuous Biblical (360-day) count for the 70 Sevens. Just as Noah waited five months, 150 days of Biblical Time, to leave the Ark. The 69th prophetic Seven was "cut short" by the limited parameters of 68 solar cycles of 365¼ days. The reason for this is that 68 sets of solar sevens produced enough accumulated extra days for a 69th Biblical set except for 21 days.  

We accept BC 445 as the date of the Decree for Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Neh.2:1. On a Gregorian calendar, there were 68 "sevens" from Nisan 30, BC 445 to Nisan 9, AD 32. The 69 Biblical sevens were 21 days more than that allowed by 68 solar sevens. (68x7x5.25 produced 2499 or 21 days short of 7x360 needed for the 69th Seven.) "The appointed Day" of Luke 19:42 and Zech.9:9 was fulfilled on Palm Sunday, Nisan 9.

Each of the 69 Sets of Seven or 2520 days amounted to 120 sets of 21 days. But 68 sets of solar seven produced 2499 extra days of 68x5¼ or only 119 sets of 21 days. The extra 21 days was therefore unavailable to complete the 69th Set of Sevens. The Gregorian  calendar shortened the countdown by three weeks. Yet the 69th anniversary of the original decree was Sunday, Nisan 30, AD 32.

THREE: The final cycle of seven years, Week #70, presents a reverse element with the solar days "cut short" instead of the Biblical days. Because of that, we will not know the final day in advance as in the first 69 cycles. "Those 1290 (solar) days will be cut short for the Elect's sake." Matt.24:22,36. But not the 1260 days! Approximately 2555 solar days of 365x7 will fulfill #70 of 360x7 days and still allow more than a month to be "cut short." None of the 1260 Biblical days will be "cut short." The Two Prophets will die on day #1260 because "time was no more and the mystery of God was finished in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound." Rev.10:6-11; Rev.11:6-11.

The basic principal that still applies to the 70th Seven requires 84 thirty-day months. The clue is given by the angel's final words to  Daniel. The 1290 days of Dan.12:11 reveals 43 (not 42) months for the final half of the 70th Seven! Since Revelation changes the final number to 1260, there are two halves of the same length. We have Rev.11:3 and Rev.12:6 giving that number for the second half. 

The 42 months are found in Rev.11:2 and Rev.13:5 for the length of time for the Beast and for the Two Prophets who oppose him by demonstrating God's Kingdom Power. The Beast kills them on day 1260, just 3½ days, or less, before the 7th Trumpet sounds. Chronos-Times ends "in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound." Rev.10:6-7.    

The key of 30-day months for the 70th Seven was discovered by Sir Robert Anderson over 100 year ago. Daniel states the Endtime half of Week #70 is 1290 days. The Endtime will be shortened to 1260 days. Pre-Endtime events cover an unknown number of days. They include the role of the White Horseman, the rule of Babylon the Great and worship in a third Temple. The Altar and those that worship therein were "measured" by John. Rev.11:1-2.

The 1290-day period holds the hidden clue that relates the fulfillment of 30-Day Biblical time to 365¼ Day Solar time. The 1290 days are part of Solar time; yet prophecy is fulfilled on the basis of 30-day months. Passover, followed by a Sabbat, was maintained once every 7 seven years only on a continuous 30-day monthly basis. In that year, the 14th was always on Friday. There were exactly 69 sets of seven from BC 445 to AD 32. The 68th set of solar sevens ended on Palm Sunday, five days before Passover.

Jesus and Revelation see the Endtime being cut short from 1290 to 1260 days. Dan.12:11; Rev.11:3;  Rev.12:6. Yet they are the same "time, times and half a time." The first 1260 days are not part of the Endtime just as they are not part of Antichrist's rule, the 8th king. Great Babylon may begin to rule "the kings of earth" before the start of the 70th Seven, the "short" period we include as part of the Pre-Endtime. Rev.17:10,11,18.

We must accept this computation because Revelation twice uses the terms "42 months and 1260 days." That suggests two 1260-day Biblical periods in a 7-year solar period, one with 42 thirty-day months and one with 43. With thirty days cut short, and with up to 3½ of those 30 days remaining until the Two Prophets arise, depending on the day and hour of the last martyr's death, no one will know in advance on what day the End will occur.

And because of the 100 verses in Revelation to be fulfilled on the Lastday, no one will know the Hour of Christ's descent from heaven. We do know that Believers will be "kept from the Hour of Trial" that brings great fear among men. Rev.3:10; Luke 21:26,35.

Endtime computations are embedded in the 3½ times of Daniel and Revelation. Dan.7:25; Dan.12:7; Rev.12:14. Daniel's prophecy is based on 70-Sevens of Years (with 84 months to each 7-year cycle)  using a 360-day calendar. It was the only way Passover could fall prophetically on Friday once every seven years... including Nisan 14, AD 32.

The first 69 Weeks, 483 years, were fulfilled to the exact day beginning with Nisan 30, BC 445. Artaxerxes' decree to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem was made on Nisan 30. Daniel. The last solar day of 476 years (68x7) between BC 445 and AD 32 forced Daniel's  prophecy to be fulfilled on Palm Sunday, Nisan 9, AD 32 ...just 21 days short of the decree's anniversary date for the 69th time in the Biblical count. The solar calendar could provide only 68 anniversaries. Christ was "cut off (five days) after" the last day of the solar count, Palm Sunday, Nisan 9. That's why Daniel reported "Messiah the Prince would be cut off after" the final Gregorian solar-date of the 68th cycle of seven.

Quick review of 69 Sevens. With 69 Biblical sevens of 360-day years from any day of Nisan, BC 445, to any day of Nisan, AD 32, there are 173,880 days. But 69x7=483x360=173,880 days or 483 years.  There were 68 solar sevens (445-1=444+32) or 476 years. Divide this by 7=68 cycles of solar 7's to fulfill 69 Biblical 7's. 

Since 68x365.25=173,859 days, a whole number which is impossible in 69 solar sevens, the 21 day shortage forced the final solar count to end on Palm Sunday, Nisan 9, AD 32. Passover day was Friday, Nisan 14. The 69th anniversary date of the Decree on the Biblical calendar was still Nisan 30 by adding 21 days.

Christ rode into Jerusalem three weeks short of the 68th solar day anniversary of the Decree (Nisan 30). This was 5 days short of the 69th time that Passover occurred on Friday of a Biblical calendar. This fulfilled Zech.9:9 as the crowds blessed Him. 

Jesus wept as they did not recognize that very "day" was the exact appointed (kairos) "time of His visitation." Luke 19:42,44. He had said: "Behold, your house (Temple) is left to YOU; for you will not see me again until you say: `Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord.'" And He revealed that Dan.9:26b was yet to be fulfilled by the fall of Jerusalem. Matt.23:38-39; Luke 19:43. 

Sixty-eight times seven solar years fulfilled seven prophetic years, sixty-nine times...except for 21 days by God's sovereign design. Israel will bless Him on one of the three days "after the 70th Seven comes to an end." Mark 13:24; Matt.24:29; Rev.10:7. They will "know their kingdom is near and will beg to escape and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:28,31,36.

God deals in 70 year periods. Seventy separated the first Temple's destruction and the building of the second Temple (BC 586 to BC 515). Seventy years later, the Decree of BC 445 led to rebuilding Jerusalem's walls. That Decree resulted in 69 prophetic Sevens (483 years) ending with Christ's presentation as King. And from His birth it was about 70 years to the fall of the second Temple.

The 70^th Seven will involve the building and desecration of the third Temple. But not its destruction. Week #70 will begin with a mid-east Covenant for Jerusalem's "final status." The problem is knowing which agreement is the real thing. Many will begin to have doubts until they "know the end is near." Matt.24:33.

No one will know for certain when Week #70 begins. The coming prince of deception will "confirm a Covenant with many." He will not be recognized since he is only one among "many." Scholars who assume Antichrist will be at the helm of world power when he confirms the Covenant overlook that Babylon the Great will rule the nations until Midweek.

Babylon falls first as one of five Endtime Catalysts. As another of the five Catalysts, Antichrist will assume world power and take peace from the earth. Only then will Jesus' words be fulfilled: "We will know the End is Near"; for that is when He is "about to come" to reward believers and to "rule the nations with an iron rod." Matt.24:33; Matt.16:27; Rev.12:5; Rev.19:15.

THE KEY TO DANIEL'S FINAL SEVEN

After deducting 1260 prophetic days from 2555 solar days (365x7) for the first half of Daniel's 70^th Week, the number of Biblical days remaining equals 43 months of 30 days. The angel dropped off the final five solar days (2555-1260=1295-5=1290; Dan.12:11). The 43 solar months provide one more Biblical 30-day month than needed for the 70th Seven.

Revelation allows 1260 days to finish the task of God's Two Kingdom Power Prophets. Thirty of Daniel's 1290 days remain to be cut short when they are killed. Jesus said these days will be "cut short for the Elect's sake." The number of solar days allotted for the great tribulation are thirty days more than 1260 days for the Two Prophets to finish their task. Those days include up to 3 1/2 days until they arise and ascend to heaven.   

Jesus confines His coming to these "days after the tribulation." Mark 13:24. That is the first reason "no one knows the day" in advance. Many have lost their way by applying this unknown day to a Pre-Trib Rapture. The 1260 days will not be cut short. The actual days cut short apply to the Two Prophets lying dead in a street of Jerusalem after completing their 1260-day task. They will continue in death until the last Martyr's death determines the Lastday. Those nourished in the desert during the same number of days of great tribulation will be sealed and rescued from Mt. Zion on the day of the last Martyr. Joel 2:32; Rev.7:1-8; Rev.14:1-5.

If both halves of the final week last 1260 Biblical days, the Lastday occurs within 3½ days after the Two Prophets are killed. These three days will be cut short also. Only the Father knows when the last Martyr reaches heaven. All Believers must rise up on the Lastday...but "each (group) in its own order"...144,000; the Two Prophets; then the "rest of the dead and those that are alive and survive until Christ's Presence." I Cor.15:23; I Thess.4:16-17; Mark 13:27; Matt.24:31. 

The last Martyr will reach heaven while the Two Prophets lie dead in a street of Jerusalem. God promises to avenge the Martyrs when the last one is killed. Rev.6:9-11. That is a second reason no one knows the Lastday in advance. Even after that day arrives, no one knows the Hour Christ appears.

Jesus was in the "heart of the earth" less than forty hours. Yet He was there three days and nights. A Jewish idiom allowed any part of a day to be counted as a whole day and night. From 3 to 6 PM on the day He died was considered one day. Until 6 PM Saturday was the 2nd day and a part of Sunday was a 3rd "day and night."

The Two Prophets may rise up in less than 84 hours. Their days of death will be cut short as they wait for the last martyr to be killed. There were 69 Biblical cycles (within 68 solar cycles) from Nisan 30, BC 445 to Nisan 30, AD 32. See Daniel. Christ was crucified five days "after" the close of the 68th solar cycle. He will come again after the days that complete the great tribulation; but before the close of the last solar cycle (actually a 69th solar seven).  

This can be seen from the following calculation: 68x7x365 1/4 =173,859 days (21 days short of 69x7x360 or 173,880). 69x7x365¼ =176,415¾ days (that's 15¾ days over 70x7x360 or 176,400 days). The 21 unused solar days from the first 68, added to the 15¾ not used for the 70th Biblical Seven comes to 36¾ days. This equals the difference between 7x360 (2520) and 7x365¼ (2556¾) solar days allowed for the 70th Biblical Seven; but actually cut short!  

The 70 cycles of 176,400 Biblical days are calculable and complete 24-hour days. Just 68 solar cycles produced the complete number of days to force the 69th Biblical cycle to end on Palm Sunday... Nisan 9 instead of the 69th Anniversary of the Decree of Nisan 30. The 70th solar cycle will be cut short by less than 30 days after allowing 2520 days for Biblical Cycle #70 and up to 3½ days more for the Two Prophets to lie dead in Jerusalem.  

That is a third reason no human knows the Lastday in advance. It occurs whenever the last Martyr reaches heaven and God decrees the "End has come." Rev.16:17. No one knows the day because the solar number will be cut short. The Prophet's 3½ days of death will be cut short as of the final martyr known only to God.

These reasons tell why no one can know in advance the exact day Christ returns. Believers understand when "we will know the End is Near." With the "144,000 purchased from earth as Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb," all Israel will "know their redemption and kingdom are near" as of that Day. Rev.14:4; Luke 21:28,31.

The third Temple will be defiled half way through Week #70. Prior to that, armies out of the North will invade Israel but will not destroy the Temple. The Temple will be desecrated at midweek. It will not be destroyed as in AD 70. That is why only Luke and Daniel (Luke 21:24; Dan.9:26c) describe the results of Jerusalem's destruction by the armies that defiled the Temple. The "days of God's vengeance on this land and wrath to this people" (Luke 21:22-23) will end when Christ appears. Matthew, Mark, Paul and Daniel describe the temple's desecration by which Believers will know the "End is near."

All that happens on the Lastday, until heaven opens and Christ descends, occurs while the Last Plague suspends in mid-air between Rev.16:17 and Rev.16:18. During this time the following events occur. Seal Six opens and its calamities continue to escalate until God implodes the Last Plague.

The Last Plague suspends in mid-air while the Martyrs sing the song of Moses, their petition to God. In the song of the Lamb, 144,000 Jews, the Firstfruit of living survivors, present the Son of Man to the Father. Rev.14:3; Rev.15:3; Dan.7:13. Then all the Saints enter the Temple for the Testimony, Tribunal and Trump Seven's Triumph just prior to heaven's final scene. Trump Seven is the only time God's wrath is announced from heaven!

Just as God protected Israel in Goshen during the Ten Plagues, so Two Prophets will feed 144,000 Israelis for 1260 days. Rev.12:6,14. When the Hour of Testing confronts surviving Jews and they see the Elect (including 144,000 Jews) appearing above them with Christ, they will "beg to escape and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 24:36; Greek. This happens in order to fulfill Christ's prediction that they would not see Him until they say: "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord." Matt.23:39.

                                                    TIMES AND SEASONS 

In His final words spoken to the Disciples as He was about to ascend into heaven, Jesus limited their expectation (and ours) to the Endtime signs by which we will "know the End is Near." Matt.24:33. Until then we live in chronos-times and seasons. The Disciples asked if the Chronos-Time had come "to restore the Kingdom to Israel." 

His answer was that it was not for them, nor from them, to know (and so have the ability to discern) the Chronous or Kairous (appointed) Times. They are placed under the Father's authority." Acts 1:6-7. Understanding the time of Christ's return was not necessary for them to complete their ministry. 

Nor for us until we know the End is Near as all five Catalysts of the Endtime occur! However, the expected beginning of Daniel's 70th Seven will provoke numerous attempts to set the final 2520th day of prophecy...with up to 3½ days left before Christ appears. My most recent thought is that He will return during the "last full moon" of the Endtime Feast of Tabernacles. See Chapter Prepare.

We are prevented from knowing for certain which "full moon" day accompanies Christ's return. At least until five Catalysts of Daniel's End-time occur. Jesus had told them no one should expect His return immediately until three things happen.

1. The Temple would be destroyed and Israel made subject to all nations until "all things having been written are fulfilled." Luke 21:22. 

2. Israel would be in Diaspora until Daniel's "3½ appointed Times" for the nations are finished. Luke 21:24. 

3. Jerusalem will be trodden down by the nations until Christ appears to destroy the Beast, "redeem Israel and restore their Kingdom." Luke 21:25,28,31; Rev.11:1,2,11,15; Dan.7:18-27.

We need to recognize the "Kairous (plural) appointed times for the restoration of Israel's Kingdom" (which begin with Christ's warning that "some of those appointed to not taste death, by any means," and which applies to the context of His being about to come in glory) must wait until He comes in Kingdom Power thru  the Two Prophets. This requires five Catalysts that launch the Endtime. The White Horseman, Babylon the Great, Michael, Satan, the Beast and False Prophet, Ten Kings and Two Prophets are the prime Pre-Endtime and Endtime players.

God has promised that the Endtime, as told to Daniel, will begin "when the Abomination stands in the Temple...the Two Prophets stand against him for 1260 days...a remnant will be kept safe in the desert...those who must die will not love their life unto death ...and of these, the last one who must die will be killed before God avenges their blood." Matt.24:15,21; Rev.12:6-14; Rev.11:3-11; Rev.6:9-11. 

Seal Six is The Sign of the Day of the Lord on which Christ returns and avenges the elect. Rev.6:12-17; Joel 2:15,16,21!

"In the days after the great tribulation, the Son of Man is (still) about to appear in glory and to bring His rewards with Him." Mark 13:24,27; Matt.16:27. "In the days whenever Trump Seven is about to sound, Chronos-Time is no longer." Rev.10:6-7. 

"God's Mystery will be finished as told to the prophets. God's wrath has come and the appointed (Kairos) time to judge and reward the Saints, small and great, and to destroy the destroyers of earth" at Armageddon. Rev.11:18.
