What prophetic event qualifies as the beginning of the Endtime? Some Bible students believe it concerns the "final-status of Jerusalem." One verse in Scripture refers to this event. It was given by Daniel more than 2500 years ago: "The coming prince will confirm a Covenant with many for one seven" ... the 70th Seven! Dan.9:27. Many of these students are divided over whether the Church will be here when the final status agreement is confirmed. They will be fractioned if the Church has not been raptured to heaven when the signatories create the real Covenant. Because this "coming prince" may not be revealed until 3½ years later when he fulfills Dan.12:11 with only 1290 days left to the End. What will indicate that the treaty is the real thing? The likely certainty of the End of the "final seven" years could be determined if it were to occur on the 2520th day (360x7) when the Two Prophets are killed ...followed quickly by their resurrection on one of three nights of a full moon cycle. The Day of God's wrath will occur with the "whole moon turning to blood." Rev.6:12. The Two Prophets will rise up on the Day the 7th Trumpet sounds. That Trumpet should blow on the night of a full moon. "The Feast of Tabernacles occurs on the 15th of the 7th month. Both the Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles fall on the 15th day of the month; that is at the FULL MOON or when the full moon has, so to speak, attained its full strength." The Temple by Alfred Edersheim, P.161. Hendrickson Publishers. We could check those three days in advance once the Covenant is signed. Each seven year prophetic period begins and ends on the same day of the week when determined on a 360-day annual calendar. September 13 was set in 1993 at the Oslo agreement between Rabin and Arafat at the White House with President Clinton moderating. But day #2520 could not have fallen during a full-moon cycle. I believe the 2520th day must be followed by one or two nights of a full moon cycle. The Two Prophets must lie dead for up to 3½ days before Seal Six opens with the "whole moon becoming as blood." For example, let us begin with September of that year. The 2520th day after Tuesday, September 13, 1993, the pre-chosen date for the "final status" agreement (from Oslo signing in 1993), would occur on Aug.7, a Tuesday, the same day of the week overlaid on a 360-day countdown. Note it is not the same month of September because a 2520-day Biblical period has 36 fewer days than the solar calendar period. The full moon after Aug.7 was Aug.15. That is too late to qualify. The Two Prophets would be killed five to eight days before the full moon! If the Covenant signing date were Wed., Nov.29, 2000, the seven-year period would provide correct dates. That period would end on Wed., Oct.24, 2007 (36 days earlier) with the full moon on Oct.26...pre-calculated day by Jean Meeus (Astronomical Tables). We would expect Antichrist to break the Covenant 1260 days after Nov.29 on Wed., May 12, 2004. Those seven years would end with the deaths of the Two Prophets on Oct.24, 2007. The unknown day of Christ's return and the "first-resurrection" would occur in less than three days since the Prophets may rise up in about half the time of 84 hours. (Just as Jesus died on Friday and arose in half the time of "three days and nights." Matt.12:40). No one knows the exact number of Daniel's 1290 days that will be cut short. But the end must climax with a full moon that turns to blood. That is the critical factor. The essential event given by Jesus for "knowing the end is near" depends on breaking the Covenant rather than confirming it. "Whenever you see the abomination standing in the holy place, as forecast by the prophet Daniel...you will know the end is near." Matt.24:15,33. We calculate the exact 2520th day but understand that only God knows which of the three succeeding days would be the Lastday. Even after the Lastday begins, only He knows the Hour when the last Martyr fulfills Rev.6:11. On that day God sends three angels from the Temple in heaven to inform the Son of Man to reap the wicked into the "Winepress of His great anger" as one angel tells Him: `Reap, the Hour to reap has come.'" Rev.14:15. Because the broken Covenant begins the second half of Daniel's 70th Seven, many argue that we can even know the date of Christ's return at least 42 months before the End. Choosing the exact day is out of the question for several reasons. Jesus said that "none but His Father knows the exact day." However, He knew that day comes "in the days immediately after" the Two Witnesses are killed to end the great tribulation. Mark 13:24 and Matt.24:29. Their resurrection will occur more than 1260 days after Antichrist breaks the Covenant by setting the abomination in the Temple. Up to 3½ days follow their deaths before the Lastday occurs. Most important, the 1290 days of Daniel will be "cut short for the Elect's sake." Matt.24:22. The 3½ days allotted for the Two Prophets to remain dead will also be "cut short whenever the last Martyr has been killed who must be killed." Rev.6:11. The "full moon" factor should eventually give us a clue as to whether the final Seven has actually begun. But first, let me relate how the idea of the full moon relates to the Decree of Rev.16:17 and the Day of wrath of Rev.6:17.****************** Early on the morning of August 15, 2000, I left home to join 30 men at our Tuesday prayer breakfast. The moon was full and low on the horizon of the western sky. It was the first of three nights of the full moon cycle which appears at a different point in the sky every month. That morning I had the personal feeling that God was speaking to me. I had realized on July 11, a month earlier and for the first time in my life, that the Sign of the Lastday will occur after the last Plague empties in midair and before the Temple Drama can begin (as of Rev.15:5 and Rev.7:9). John describes the Drama from Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and Rev.11:15-19. I also knew the Hour of Wrath occurs after the Son of Man reaps the wicked to the "winepress of great anger." For God's patience will be exhausted by the last Plague as His anger is about to fill the Cup of wrath. Rev.15:1,8, Rev.14:10,19. The last Plague empties in midair. It empties at the same moment God decrees the Lastday has come with a single word out of the Temple from the Throne: "Gegonen, It is Done." That word (used by John in Revelation only twice in the perfect tense) signals the Lamb to open Seal Six, the Sign of the Day of Wrath! The last Martyr will have been killed, a fact that only the Father could know. This was significant to me because I had long thought the Decree, "It is Done", refers to an immediate change from God's anger to His Cup of Wrath. I had not seen any time-lapse between Rev.16:17 and Rev.16:18 for the Temple Drama to be fulfilled prior to the Hour of Wrath. The text seems to indicate the Cup of anger and wrath immediately follows the Decree itself. But God's anger must first "mix full strength in the Cup of Wrath" and no one can enter the Temple for the Tribunal to judge the wicked until the last Plague empties in the air. Rev.14:10; Rev.15:8. With the Cup of Wrath poured out to destroy Babylon with history's greatest quake, the nations' cities will also disappear. Rev.16:18-21. This requires retrospection and retroaction from Rev.15:5 to Rev.7:9 where, in each case, we find John stating: "After these things, I looked, and behold....the Temple was open" and all the martyrs appear before God and the Lamb for the first time.! The Temple Drama cannot begin before the last Plague empties to "complete God's anger." Rev.15:1,8. This is the most significant time-factor in the Book of Revelation! The Three-Act Temple Drama (Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and Rev.11:15-19) cannot occur until Rev.16:1-17 "completes God's anger ... exhausts His patience." (The New Jerusalem Bible, Rev.15:1). In fact, the background setting for the Day of God's Wrath in Rev.6:12-17 is Rev.16:12-17 which begins with Plague #6 and ends with Plague $7! Suddenly, that morning, I realized the Drama will not begin until the Lamb hears the word "gegonen" coming out of the Temple from the throne. The Lamb opens Seal Six, goes to rescue the 144,000, waits on a white cloud for the word sent by one of three angels from heaven's Temple to reap the wicked and then takes the "Firstfruit," having been kept safe unto God and Himself, to heaven "on the clouds. They follow the Lamb wherever He may go." In the song of the Lamb, they present Him as the victorious Son of Man to the Ancient of Days. They join the Martyrs who sing Moses' song of victory. Dan.7:13; Rev.14:3-4; Rev.15:3-4. Then the Temple opens for Act One as all the Saints praise God and the Lamb by name... praising both by name for the first time in heaven...on the last day of this age! Rev.7:9-10. The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony opens twice in Rev.15:5. It will have opened once for seven angels to receive their bowls and empty their plagues (for they had been completed as of Rev.15:1,4). These plagues had "completed God's anger (aorist indicative; Greek)." At the second time the Temple opens, the smoke clears for the Lastday's exciting Three-Act Drama from Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and Rev.11:15-19. In heaven's Temple, Christ is crowned King of kings and Lord of lords, the Ark of the Covenant is seen and the "Temple was open." Rev.11:19. It is time to execute God's decree of anger-filled-wrath: "Gegonen." God's anger mixes full strength in the Cup of Wrath as predicted in Rev.14:10. His great anger turns to anger-filled-wrath. Here Rev.14:18-19 belongs to the Outer Path of events on the Lastday and Rev.16:18-19 belongs to the Inner Path. (Meditations #37-48). Only then does God's wrath destroy Great Babylon, both City and System; and, during the Hour of Trial for all mankind, destroys the nations' cities. "All Heaven...Saints, Apostles and Prophets rejoice: 'Babylon the Great is fallen forever’"! Rev.16:19; Rev.18:20; Rev.19:1-3. I was in charge of Bible trivia questions at prayer breakfast each week. I had assigned the Bible question to the men two weeks earlier for Aug.15 of 2000 about "What happens after the Decree: `It is Done’"? Until that morning I had thought God's wrath would quickly pour out on all mankind, especially the contents of the Cup of Wrath, as soon as the 7th Plague empties. Rev.16:17-21. But when I saw the full moon on the morning this question was to be answered at Prayer Breakfast, the Lord confirmed what I had just realized a month before on July 11. The Decree from the Throne would be the signal for the Day of the Lord. That day begins with the sun refusing to shine, the whole moon turning red like blood and the heavens rolling up like a scroll. Rev.6:12-14, Matt.24:29. About eight weeks later, on awaking early in the morning of Yom Kippur, October 9, I was given understanding of how the final half-day of the Two Prophets' death allows for "Two working in the field and two grinding at the mill" to actually occur on that 12-Hour Day of the Lord. If the sun ceases to shine in Israel at noontime, the whole moon would turn to blood here in Virginia just before daybreak. We would see the stars falling from heaven! Those in Israel would also see the stars falling! But Israelis would already have been at work in the fields for a half-day! The sun need not turn to darkness early in the morning for the Two Prophets lying dead on a street in Jerusalem. They remain dead for a half-day. That awesome moment at five or six AM for those living here in Virginia would be even more astounding if they saw these two arise from the dead and ascend to heaven on TV as the moon turns blood-red here and the sun turns to darkness after six hours of broad daylight in Israel! With these Prophets rising up during the middle of the final day, the sun would remain dark in Israel for half a day. Zechariah states the "light will return at twilight" of that unique day. Zech.14:6-7. The two who are working in the field or at the mill in Israel will have no more time left than the "two" who are asleep in Virginia. Why is that important? Jesus revealed, on the day of His apocalypse, wherever there are Twosomes and whether it is day or night, "one will be taken and one left. 'Where, Lord?'" they asked. "Wherever there is a carcass, there the birds will be gathered above." Luke 17:30-37, Matt.24:28. Jesus did not give specific details on which one will be "taken or left." But those who "mourn" when He appears will have opportunity to "preserve their lives." Luke 17:33. They will be "kept alive." People in the Mideast will go to work as usual that morning, unaware that this is the Lastday...the Day of Deliverance or Destruction. (The word preserve means to be "kept alive." See Acts 7:19-20 where it applies to Moses). This was most exciting to me because I never could understand why Jesus urges those who see Him appearing on that day should "look up when they see these things beginning to happen." Luke 21:28. To those left behind, He warns in parabolic words: "Do not turn back; remember Lot's wife." Luke 17:31;32. This final warning is for those who suddenly realize JESUS is their promised Messiah and they are His chosen people. He put these words, "to mourn and to beg to escape these things," in the context of their having already seen Him appear with the Saints!! Luke 21:36, Matt.24:30-31, Rev.1:7. Let me back up to Tuesday morning, August 15. It was time to answer the previously assigned question from two weeks before: "What comes after `It is Done’?" I had no inkling of the significance of a full moon as I left the house for Prayer Breakfast with what I thought was the answer to the question. While I knew the Day of Wrath depends on the voice coming out of the Temple, it was the full moon that shined the light of a new possibility for checking the validity of the "final status" and the end of Daniel's 70th Seven. The 70th Seven must begin 12 to 14 days before its first full moon. The end of this final Seven (day 2520) will be the same day of the week, 2520 days later. But it will also be 36 days prior to the original month and day. The three days of a full-moon cycle will follow the 2520th day. "In the days after" the Two Prophets are killed, they will arise and ascend to heaven. I am not Jewish, but I saw this connection for the first time on October 21, of 2000, the eighth day of Solemn Assembly, the Festival Day which is observed after Sukkot. This day also completes the annual cycle of Torah reading. The full moon will appear 85 times during the seven-year period on a Gregorian calendar. It will appear again within three days after 1260 days of Daniel's 1290 days, but also on one of two or three days after the Two Prophets are killed by the Beast. With the 70th Seven beginning 12 to 14 days before a full moon, the 86th full moon turns to blood and the Two Prophets arise. On October 21 of 2000, I felt blessed that we may so easily verify the validity of the Covenant that begins Daniel's final prophetic Seven. Even then, however, we must wait an additional 42 months to know for certain that the End is Near. Matt.24:15,33. Only a 30-day calendar shows how the first and 2520th day of each Seven-Year Period occurs on the same week-day; but it ends 36 days prior to the original corresponding month and day. So it was with the first 69 Sevens. A period of 68 solar sevens (476 years from Nisan 30, the date of the Decree by Artaxerxes in Neh.2:1 to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem), provided the 69 prophetic sevens until Nisan 9, the date of Palm Sunday. It was "after that," on Good Friday, that Messiah was "cut off, but not for Himself." Dan.9:26. The Decree was made on a 5th Sunday, Nisan 30, 445 BC. The 69th prophetic seven was cut short by three weeks... but was forced to end on the 2nd Sunday with Passover occurring on Good Friday! This allowed Jesus Christ to fulfill Zech.9:9 on Nisan 9 as the total days in 68x7x365.25 solar years came up 21 days short of 69x7x360 prophetic days. The span of 69x7x360 days from Sunday, Nisan 30, in BC 445 to Nisan 30 climaxed the month in which Christ died. Its 68x7x365.25 days fell short by three weeks of its 69th Anniversary. This is easy to see as 5.25 extra days in each of 476 solar years (2499) is short of 7x360 by three weeks (2520-2499=21). So Zech.9:9 was fulfilled on a Sunday three weeks before the Decree's Anniversary date of Nisan 30. Passover day was fulfilled on Nisan 14...so that five days "after" Nisan 9 Messiah was cut off" to fulfill Dan.9:26. Each Passover, Nisan 14, fulfilled Lev.23:5 on a Friday once every seven years; being separated by 2520 days on a 360-day calendar. Every 84th Passover fell on Friday until the 69th time from the month Nisan in BC 445 to AD 32. If AD 32 was not the year Christ died, then BC 445 was not the year of the Decree. In the case of the 70th Seven, the prophetic days will not be cut short. Instead, the solar days will be cut short. There will be exactly 2520 prophetic days and 2520 solar days fulfilled from the Covenant date to the death of the Two Prophets. The remaining month of 30 solar days will be cut short. Dan.12:11; Matt.24:22. The final 2520 days may be split in two equal parts for the first and 2nd halves of a seven-year prophetic calendar...with an extra 30-day month cut short by all but up to 3½ days as the Prophets remain dead. There are 85 prophetic months in 84 solar months so that Daniel saw 1290 days (43 prophetic months) remaining after the "abomination sits in the Temple." The final month will be "cut short"...except for up to 3½ days while the Two Prophets wait for God's imposed condition of waiting for the last Martyr. That wait determines the Day of Vengeance known in advance only to the Father. Rev.6:11. The Son of Man, even on the Lastday, will not know in advance the Hour of His coming. He will "sit on a white cloud" after opening Seal Six and rescuing the 144,000 Jews from Mt. Zion. He will wait on the white cloud for the Father to send three angels from the Temple in heaven. One of them tells Him: "Reap, the Hour to reap has come" Rev.14:15. This is one of seven things "having come" in Revelation on the Lastday. After reaping the wicked, the Lamb takes the 144,000 "on the clouds of heaven to God." They present the conquering Son of Man to the Ancient of Days. Dan.7:13. Jesus will know when to open Seal Six, the sign of God’s Day of wrath, at the unique "word" coming out of the Temple, from the Throne in heaven: "GEGONEN; It has happened; The End has come." Seven groups hiding in the hills from vast armies invading Israel will cry out in desperation. They do this after the Holocaust of the 6th Trumpet kills a third of mankind; and the armies of the 6th Plague invade their land. Their fears intensify when the Lamb opens Seal Six. The seven disparate classes declare: "God's wrath and the Lamb's has come; who can escape?" Therefore, Rev.6:12-17 immediately follows the last two plagues of Rev.16:12-17. What is the astonishing point of all these things? Seal Six opens at noon-time in Israel on the Lastday after six of the seven Trumpet judgments are past and the 7th Plague suspends in midair. Seal Seven will open the Scroll to display the evidence at the trial of Dan.7:9-10...immediately after the multitudes appear in the open Temple in Rev.7:9-10 for the first time in God’s redemptive plan of the ages. The passage in Rev.6:12-17 follows the voice out of the Temple as the last Plague empties in the air on the day of Armageddon as Rev.16:12-17 sets the stage for God’s wrath. The Lamb responds to the most unique word in all of history...on the last day of this age as recorded in Rev.16:17..."Gegonen"...TEN CHAPTERS after the sign of that Day is described! To understand the Book of Revelation, we must see the Seven Last Plagues already being emptied before the voice out of the Temple signals the Lamb to open Seal 6 and six Trumpets being fulfilled before the 7th Seal opens the scroll to a full display for a judgment by the Court! The easiest way to study Revelation sees Seal 6 introducing the Day of God's wrath; the Day of Redemption for Israel and of Resurrection for all the Saints. That is basic among the Ten Keys to Revelation. This unique word, "Gegonen," coming out of the Temple from the Throne, sets the awesome events of the 12-Hour Day (and 1000-Year-Day) of the Lord in motion! Just as "Gegonan" will be God's spoken word for the New Heavens and Earth a thousand years later. Rev.16:17; Rev.21:6. All of this reveals the true humanity of Jesus as the Son of God. Because he was obedient unto death, the Father exalted him. His subservience reveals that his humanity continues even to the "end of the ages when all things are subdued unto him. Then the Son will himself be subjected to the One having subjected all things to him; that God may be all in all." Both God and man, He is a Jew forever glorified as the perfect Son of Man. That's why the first act of the Lamb, after opening Seal Six, will see Him rescuing 144,000 "blameless" Jews from Mt. Zion as "Firstfruits unto God and the Lamb." He will take them to heaven to sing the Song of the Lamb by which they present him to the Ancient of Days. Then the Court sits in judgment on the Beast before Christ is crowned to take the Kingdom and reign on earth. I Cor.15:28; Rev.14:3-4; Rev.15:3-4; Dan.7:11,13,26; Rev.8:1-5. This one word, Gegonen, signals the unknown Day has come. Jesus knows that this word reveals what He cannot know until the last Plague empties in midair and the Beast kills the last Martyr! As the Lamb, He cannot know the Day of His revelation until this word comes out of the Temple from the Throne. Soon thereafter as the Son of Man, He will know the Hour to reap the wicked has come as God sends the angels from the Temple in heaven. The 144,000 accompany Him to the "white cloud" and wait with Him as He reaps the wicked. They accompany Him on heaven's clouds to present Him to the Ancient of Days. Dan.7:13. Only twice in Revelation is this word spoken. It is the regular word for things that happen. But the perfect tense each time signifies the finality of the event in question. The 2nd time this word is again spoken by God as He decrees: "I am Alpha and Omega. I make all things new. Gegonan, All things have occurred!" A New Heaven and New Earth appear! The end of the ages will have happened 1000 years after the first word comes out of the Temple from the Throne! Rev.16:17, Rev.21:5-6. The 1000-Year Day of the Lord ends on the Day of God. 2 Pet.3:12. That time period is like "Day One" to the Lord. I Pet.3:10 The word is decisive. It launches the Day of Deliverance for Saints, the Redemption of Israel and the Destruction of the wicked. Those who mourn and beg for mercy will be kept from physical death. A 1000 years later, after Israel rules with Messiah-King, this word launches the total re-creation of heaven and earth. All the nations will bring their honor and glory into the New Jerusalem and be healed by the leaves of its trees. Joel 2:32, Luke 17:33, Luke 21:36 (Pray or "beg" applies to the mourners saved too late to be included in the Bride of the Lamb), Matt.24:30, Rev.1:7, Rev.21:24-26, Rev.22:2. This word precipitates the events of 100 verses in Revelation that describe Lastday events. Not just that of opening Seal 6, but events such as sealing the 144,000 Jews, rescuing them from Mt. Zion and their journey to heaven with the Lamb to present the Son of Man in the song of the Lamb. "Only they can learn" and sing this song after the Son of Man reaps the wicked to the "Winepress of God's great anger." The text of Rev.6:12 to Rev.7:8 continues at Rev.14:1 to Rev.15:5 where "after these things" is repeated in Rev.7:9 to revert back to the acts of the open Temple Drama. Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and Rev.11:15-19. As the 144,000 are the "Firstfruits to God and the Lamb," the rest of the Elect will not be taken up from earth to meet Jesus in the air until these "Firstfruit of the living harvest" stand before God (on a river/sea of fire) to sing their song and then stand before God and the Lamb in the open Temple with sublime praise. The Two Prophets will have been raised up from death to join the martyrs and these Firstfruits in the open Temple after singing the song of Moses on the river/sea of fire. The 144,000 and the Two Prophets among the martyrs sing their songs before God and then praise God and the Lamb by name! Rev.14:3-4, Rev.15:3-4; Dan.7:9-10; Rev.7:9-10. The following is a test example of when to expect these events! A simple countdown determines the final day of Daniel's 70th Seven. The Mideast Peace will begin the countdown. But how can we know if the Covenant has actually begun once we verify the date for ending Daniel's 70th Seven? The full moon must be conjoined with the 2520th day like the one I saw August 15,2000. What if, for instance, the final status agreement had been signed on Wednesday, Nov.29, 2000? The 2520th day would be Wednesday, Oct.24, 2007. The Lastday would be among the three nights of a full moon and would include Oct.26. The Two Prophets will rise up on the Lastday because Jesus promises to "raise up every/all believer(s) and gather them from earth to heaven." John 6:38-40, Mark 13:24,27. That Lastday must be one of the three days of a full moon when Seal 6 opens and the "whole moon becomes as blood." Rev.6:12. We can't be sure of the first day of the final 1260 days until the Abomination is placed in the Temple. We can't know the Lastday until the sun refuses to shine and we see the Two Prophets rise up and ascend to heaven! It is the "first resurrection" with each group rising up in its own order. Rev.20:5, I Cor.15:23. In answer to a question about the final settlement date (the day set for the "final status of Jerusalem"), I listed the reasons why the Lastday comes within three days after the Two Prophets are killed. One: "No one knows the last day or hour of His coming in the days immediately after the tribulation." Mark 13:24,27, Matt.24:29,36. Two: That day will occur "in the remaining days after the great tribulation." Mark 13:24. Three: Up to 30 days...after the 1260 of Rev.11:3 and Rev.12:6...and up to 3 1/2 days of that 30...will be cut from the 1290 of Dan.12:11, Matt.24:22. Four: The 7th Trumpet sounds on the 12-Hour Day of the Lord; just prior to the Last Trump of I Thess.4:16 and Matt.24:31. Chronos-time ends in the days it is about to sound. Rev.10:6-7. Five: The Two Prophets will rise up on the 12-Hour Day of the Lord. Rev.11:11-15. Six: Every believer rises up on the same last day, including 144,000 "Firstfruits" to God and the Lamb. He takes them from earth to the third heaven. Later on that day, all the dead in Christ receive back their souls at the meeting place, the Synagogue in the Sky. Rev.11:11-12, Rev.14:1-4, John 6:38-40,44,54, John 14:3, Mark 13:27, Mt.24:31. Seven: A Jewish idiom allows any part of a day to be counted as a whole day and night. Eight: We will know the "end is near" only when the Covenant of Dan.9:27 is broken. The great tribulation will last 1260 days of the final 1290. Rev.11:3, Rev.12:6,14. Here, just as the 144,000 escaped into the desert in safety to begin those days; so they will meet on Mt. Zion in safety...under the canopy of darkness on the Lastday. Nine: Antichrist is revealed when he breaks the Covenant. 2 Thess.2:1-4, Matt.24:15. Ten: Therefore, the Endtime countdown begins with the broken Covenant at Midweek. The first half of the 70th Seven is part of the Pre-Endtime last days; but not part of the 1260-day Endtime because of Dan.7:25; Dan.12:4-11. Verse 9 has the hidden date of 5757 (1997) in Drosnin’s original Bible Code book for the time when we will have insight into the "end time. " This date was of interest to me for the following reason. After six months of study prior to Oct. of '96, and before that book was published, I was able to understood that Passover fell on the same day of the week and month only once every 7 years...establishing the basis for the 70 Sevens. The Bible Code came out in '97. So it was reassuring to have already discovered that during 483 Passovers, that day occurred on the same week-day of Friday, Nisan 14, every seven years over a period of 476 solar years. In each of the other six years it occurs on a different day of the week; but always in the second week of Nisan. Each of the 483 Passover days occurred within 7 days of each other on a 360-day calendar. Even the anniversary date of the decree on Nisan 30 for Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem occurred every 7 years on Sunday of a prophetic calendar. Neh.2:1. See section on Biblical Month, Daniel, Seventy. An example of the Jewish idiom happened in the case of Jesus taking three disciples up on the Mount of Transfiguration. Matthew and Mark say it was six days after Jesus revealed His Endtime Mandate that "some would not taste death until after He comes in kingdom power." Luke says it was "about eight days." Another example was the prediction by Jesus that He would be in the grave for "three days and three nights." If He died on Friday, He was there about 36 hours instead of 72. The Two Prophets will rise up within 42 to 84 hours. During that time, the 144,000 Jews will gather together on Mt. Zion to be rescued on the last day...the timing of which Jesus disclaimed precise knowledge.The days that will be "cut short" belong to a final 7-year, 365-day calendar of 2555 or 2556 days. We know this because Daniel’s first 69 Sevens (483 years) were fulfilled in 68 Sevens of a 365¼ solar calendar.The countdown, however, was fulfilled on a prophetic 360-day calendar. The prophetic count was "cut short" by 21 days because 476 solar years, each with 5¼ extra days, produces 21 days less than the number needed for the 69th Seven to complete 483 Biblical years. The 69th Seven continued until Nisan 30 for the final anniversary.Thus there were two closing dates. One was for the last day of 68 solar sets of seven which was Palm Sunday to fulfill Dan.9:26 and Zech.9:9 for the presentation of Messiah the Prince. The other was Nisan 30, the 69th anniversary of the Decree on Nisan 30, AD 32.Passover was fulfilled for the 69th time on a Friday, Nisan 14, just five days after the closing solar date! Dan.9:26 puts Messiah’s death "after" the fulfilled prophecy of 69 Sevens. Note my chart in Daniel shows how any given month began 3 days later each succeeding year. So it took 69 cycles of 84-30-day months for Passover to occur with Nisan 14 falling on the same week-day just once every seven years. Each seven-year solar period contained 85 full moons. Now, the 70th solar Seven will have its normal 2555 or 2556 days. After the first 42 months of 1260 prophetic days until the middle of the "week," there are an extra 36 days left. Daniel saw 1290 solar days which are divisible by 30 (2550-1260=1290); or 85 prophetic solar months minus 42 months equals 43 thirty-day months for the second half. (Daniel lopped off the last 5 or 6 solar days). The extra days of the 43rd prophetic thirty-day month will be "cut short" at the death of the Two Prophets. The Lastday occurs "in the days immediately after the great tribulation." The Two Prophets rise up on the Day Trump 7 sounds, with God's mystery having been finished as told to Daniel, with "Chronos-Time having ceased and with the appointed Kairos-Time having come to judge, reward (and resurrect) the Prophets and Saints and all who fear God’s name." Rev.10:6-7; Rev.11:6-7; Rev.11:18. All believers rise up on the same last day, the unknown Day of the Lord. John 6:38-40,44,54; Matt.24:36. The full-moon cycle occurs every 29 and a half days. The Endtime of great tribulation is limited to 1260 days. The final full moon phase begins 36 days earlier than the corresponding solar day and month that begins the 70th Seven. Its conjunction with the final moon cycle may be checked out in the "Astronomical Tables of the Sun, Moon and Planets" by Jean Meeus, second edition, 1995, published by Willmann-Bell, P.O. Box 35025, Richmond, Va. 23235, Page 193. Since Antichrist is not revealed until he breaks the Covenant, we can’t "know the end is near" for sure until he breaks the Covenant. It is a Pre-Trib view that assumes the "unknown" last day may occur "at any moment" before the 70th Seven begins. I believe one reason Jesus said He did not know the exact day is that He knew we might overlook the fact of His having said: "That Day will occur in the days immediately after the greatest of all tribulations." Mark 13:24; Matt.24:29. On Sep.9, 2000, I sent the following email to friends: We will have seven things to consider in setting parameters of the "days after the tribulation" during which Christ will come. Five of these will indicate the start of the final 1260 days. ONE: Ten Kings will destroy Babylon the Great in one hour. Rev.17:16. TWO: In that hour they give their authority and power to Antichrist. Rev.17:12,17 THREE: He breaks the Covenant. Dan.9:27, Dan.12:11, Matt.24:15, 2 Thess.2:4. FOUR: The Two Prophets arrive from heaven to begin their 1260-day task. Rev.11:3-7. FIVE: Their demonstration of God's Kingdom Power ends the second set of 42 prophetic 30-day months. SIX: The Lastday will occur within three days after the Two Prophets are killed. SEVEN: The full moon must coincide with the Lastday or it would distort the continuity of the 100 verses to be fulfilled on the Day of the Lord...assuming the "whole moon" of Rev.6:12 refers to one of the three days of a full moon cycle. The festival of Trumpets always occurs at the full moon. Just 2520 days after the Covenant is signed to begin the 70th Seven, the Two Witnesses will be killed by the Beast. The time of the full moon can then be ascertained relative to the 2520th day. But we won’t know until the Covenant is signed if the three full moon days occurs in conjunction with the 2520th day. We should consider which day the Endtime may begin once the covenant-signatories make the agreement. I prefer to say Jesus must return within 1263 days because the hours of 3½ days could be cut in half just as the hours Jesus was in the grave were about half of 3 days and nights. Also, the mighty angel swore in the Creator’s name that time ends "in the days before Trump 7 sounds"! Prophetic time (2520 days) ends on the day the Two Prophets are killed. The remaining three days are part of the final 30 days to be cut short. Dan.12:11; Matt.24:22.The days to be cut short are the extra solar days that remain on a 43rd 30-day prophetic month of a seven-year solar calendar. I don’t want to be splitting hairs, but Jesus Himself cautioned against setting the exact day, not because it might occur at "any time" before the tribulation, but because He knew we would count the 2520 days just as Daniel reveals the 173,859th day of 365.25x68x7 was 21 days short of 360x69x7. Jesus wept because the Jews did not "recognize the Day" they hailed Him as King also fulfilled the 69th Seven on "this very day." Luke 19:42.I sent another email on Sep.17, 2000: Scripture is so precise. Jesus used "when" (ote) for the knowledge of God's timing that is certain and used "whenever" (otan) for the timing that is uncertain. To illustrate, the first six Seals (Rev.6:1-12) open with "ote"; but the seventh (Rev.8:1) opens with "otan." The timing of Seal 7 waits on what happens "after these things." It is after these things that the Temple opens in Rev.7:9 (as in Rev.15:5). Both verses introduce the things that occur in the open Temple Drama. That "open" Temple Drama ends in Rev.11:19.The Lamb will know "when" to open Seal 6 for the Day of the Lord whenever the voice comes out of the Temple, at the last plague, saying: "It is Done." That these passages launch the same day, being ten chapters apart, is interesting. Rev.6:12-17; Rev.16:12-17! Not even Lastday events are written sequentially. But the precision of Scripture applies to the Lastday's 100 verses as well as its events. Following Seal 6, the Lamb waits on a white cloud after reaping the 144,000, anticipating the Hour to reap the wicked to the "Winepress of God's great anger." Then, "whenever" three angels come from heaven, one angel will command Him to reap because "The Hour to Reap has come." Rev.14:14-19. "When" speaks of knowing for "certain" the Day of the Lord has come when the Lamb hears the word: "Gegonen, It is Done" and He opens Seal 6. But "whenever" indicates "uncertainty" until the exact hour comes on that same day to indict the wicked in Seal 7. Only with Seal 7 does John use "whenever" to introduce one of the seals. Seal 6 and Seal 7 occur on the same DAY; but each at an unknown HOUR after the last Martyr is killed and the Two Prophets rise up to heaven. The brightness of His glory will outshine the brightness of the sun: "Whenever He appears (again showing the timing is uncertain), we will appear with Him in glory...when He gathers the Elect from earth to His Presence at the Synagogue above...because the gathering above happens only in the days after the great tribulation." Mark 13:24-27 (action verb); 2 Thess.2:1 (same word sunagog; but the noun here denotes "destination"). Jesus desires the Hour of glory with His Bride before He destroys His enemies. In Zech 14:5-9, there will be no sunlight from noon-time on the 12-Hour Day of the Lord. Jesus will be King over ALL the earth on that day and will be setting up His earthly Kingdom to rule with a rod of iron. The world will still need the sun for 1000 years. Except the Martyrs will reign from the Temple in heaven for that period and not be touched by the sun's heat. Rev.3:12; Rev.7:15-17. That's when the nations must come to worship God. Amos 8:9; Rev.7:15; Rev.20:4-5; Rev.15:4; Zech.14:16!The 12-Hour Day is "unique" and in that sense "known only to the Lord." Zech.14:5-9. It sounds as if things will be turned upside down on that day...because it is the only "day of God's wrath recognized by seven groups of people hiding in the mountains"...hiding from the armies invading Israel after they kill two billion people in the Sixth Trumpet. That "woe has passed by" when the Two Prophets arise from death on one of the 3½ days after completing their 1260 days of Kingdom Power and Conflict. Rev.11:3,7,11. Think of the "night" when Jesus appears to half the world's population. They see Jesus coming literally as a "thief in the night." But on the day-side of earth He will come "like a thief and like lightning" to destroy the wicked who will not expect Him. We will know when He is about to come. Matt.24:33. He "blesses us for watching and keeping our clothes on and not be seen naked" Rev.16:15. The "light returns in the evening" to indicate all this happens in a 12-Hour Day. Zech.14:7. The widely-held idea of a 7-Year Day of the Lord is very distracting. While we also cannot know that day, He knows many will try to set the exact day by not understanding it must occur "in the days after 1260 days of great tribulation...whenever Trump 7 sounds." Mark 13:24; Rev.10:6-7...the "whenever of uncertain timing" occurs here again. The 7th Trumpet, as well as the Last Trump, will sound on the same 12-Hour Day of the Lord's return in glory. The Mandate of Matt.16:28 applies to the Saints who face death after the Two Endtime Prophets finish their task. They will "love not their life unto death." Rev.12:11. On June 22 of 1995, I began to understand the Mandate, as given in Mark 9:1, which Robert Stephanus in 1550 "separated" from the preceding text. As IF Mark 9:1, "that some would not taste death by any means," was fulfilled within eight days of Jesus giving them the Mandate! Jesus had stated a week earlier that "some will not die, by any means, until AFTER they see Him having already come (perfect participle in Mark 9:1; but not found in Matt.16:28, NASB). It took three days for me to discover that this is the same "coming in kingdom POWER" (not yet in Glory) to fulfill Rev.12:10. These two texts will be fulfilled for "some" during the 3½ final days. The Two Prophets are among those who will not die, by any means, until Christ is less than 3½ days away from coming in GLORY. Not even these Two are the last Martyrs for determining the Lastday. The text, Mark 9:1, should not have been taken out of the context of Mark 8:35-38 where martyrdom is the test of discipleship when Christ is "about to come" as He said in the Greek text of Matt.16:27. The whole concept of knowing when Christ's coming is "near, at any moment," for certain, has sole reference to "knowing the End is Near" during the 3½ year Endtime; and especially the 3½ days. Matt.24:33. That certainty begins with (1) the "whenever" of Antichrist's revelation in Matt.24:15. (2) With breaking the 70th Seven's Covenant. (3) With the destruction of Babylon by Ten Kings in one hour. (4) With the violent casting of Satan and his angels from heaven. (5) With the coming of the Two Prophets to begin the two stages of the Kingdom Power "restoration of all things." Dan.12:1; Rev.12:7-9; Matt.17:11; Acts 3:21; Matt.16:28; Rev.12:10; Rev.11:3-7. Hi Jonathan, But if they are included, the "rapture" will not occur until the Day when "time is no longer, the last martyr to be killed has been killed; God's wrath has come and the time appointed (kairos; only here of the Saints in Revelation) to judge and (therefore resurrect) and reward the Prophets and Saints and those who fear His name, both small and great." Rev.10:6-7; Rev.6:11; Rev.11:18. Should it be thought Biblically unsound that God "brings tribulation Saints with Jesus at His Presence" on the same Day He "destroys the destroyers of earth"? Rev.11:18. Or that He will wait until that Day to "bring His rewards with Him for every Believer" as He promised? Matt.16:27; Rev.22:12. Has not the Pre-Trib rapture doctrine robbed Trib-Martyrs of their glory when it is the latter who win the reward promised to the Church? Rev.3:12. Twice they are singled out and informed in advance of receiving such high honors: Rev.7:15-17; Rev.20:4-5. Their hope is the secret of "enduring to the end ... while those who survive will be kept from the Hour of Trial." Rev.3:10-11. In Luke 21:35, that Hour occurs "after Christ appears in glory." The promise of Rev.3:10 is for all who keep God's word to "patiently endure." Should Tribulation Saints be expected to go through this Hour of Trial when they patiently "endure by not loving their life unto death"? What if only Endtime Trib-Saints will be "kept from the Hour of Trial that is about to come on the inhabitants of the entire earth... on the Day Christ appears"? Rev.3:10-11; Luke 21:34-35. Many claim this promise does not apply to Trib-Saints because "only the Church will be kept from the HOUR of Trial." They claim only Pre-Tribs belong to the Church. So only the Church escapes God's Endtime tribulation wrath. In the Church, "overcomers to the end will reign with Christ." Trib-Martyrs "reign with Christ 1000 years." Rev.2:26-27; Rev.20:4-5. Must Trib-Survivors suffer "the Hour of Trial" after "enduring patiently to the End"?
(1) Trib-Martyrs win the highest reward to the Church. Rev.3:12. Naturally, Trib-Saints must go through the Endtime period. The Hour of Trial affects "all the inhabitants on all the face of all the earth"...unless they repent for having bowed to the Beast. The judgments and plagues strike only "a third" of the earth/sea and the locusts are forbidden to "harm those who have been sealed." Rev.9:4. Not until Christ appears does God's wrath affect the entire earth. Luke 21:27-35. The Church is not "kept from suffering death." Martyrs prove they are worthy to escape "the Hour of Trial." Yet Trib-Survivors would be denied the benefits promised to those who "endure to the end." The main benefit is to be "kept from the Hour of Judgment" which comes "suddenly, like a snare, on all the inhabitants on all the face of all the earth" after Christ appears in glory. Rev.14:7. Only the Martyrs obtain the benefits promised to "overcoming church members," reigning for all of 1000 years from heaven's Temple. Rev.7:15; Rev.20:4-5. Their Millennial paradise is just as strong a motive to die for Christ as it is for surviving Saints to reign with Christ on the earth! Tribulation Saints inevitably face the supreme challenge and "keep the word to endure to the end by loving not their life unto death." There also can be no dispute that "by the word of the Lord, if we believe Jesus died and rose...we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air." Here the "we" cannot be arbitrarily limited to those who "live and survive" only until the great tribulation begins. Trib-Saints will hold to that same truth. Once again, why do the scholars exclude Trib-Survivors from being "caught up if they believe and survive" until Christ appears? To exclude them, the "word of the Lord" would have to be declared off limits to Trib-Saints. Removing the Church to heaven does not remove God's promise to all who "believe He died and rose"! Pre-Trib scholars remove Trib-Saints from the Body and Bride of Christ. Yet they do not deny that, in the New Jerusalem, all the Saints of all the ages are called the Bride of the Lamb with their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Do Trib-Martyrs become members of the Bride only after they are dead? Rev.21:2,9,27. Pre-Trib Rapturists claim we must all be taken to heaven to receive our rewards; yet Jesus says "He will bring His rewards with Him for each believer at His coming in glory." Matt.16:27; Rev.22:12. They agree the "dead in Christ must rise first" but deny the "souls of those whom God brings with Jesus" include "Trib-Martyred souls seen under the altar" during the tribulation. I Thess.4:13-17, Rev.6:9-11. Some might even admit that Trib-Saints are part of the Bride. Or that OT Saints will "rise up" with Church Saints. But will they admit Trib-Saints, who "patiently endure" to the End, will be "kept from the Hour of Trial"? Must these faithful Saints be sacrificed, on t he Pre-Trib altar of convenience, so that God's promise fails for those who are "left behind." Can Martyrs only be rewarded "at His coming in glory" if they get killed before the tribulation? Must those killed during the tribulation also face "The Hour of Trial"? Or does the literal Hour of God's wrath follow the 7th Trumpet after "Time is no longer and God's mystery was finished"? Rev.10:6-7. Trib-Martyrs receive a higher reward than Trib-Survivors; but why should the latter be put beyond the scope of God's promise to be "caught up to meet the Lord at His coming and Presence" after suffering through the great tribulation? Gathered above when He comes on the clouds": Matt.24:30-31. Caught up at His "Presence on that Day": Matt.24:27,37, I Thess.3:13, and I Thess.4:15. The only condition here is that "we/they believe Jesus died and rose." Pre-Tribs claim the Rapture occurs in Rev.4:1. They believe the Rapture will have already occurred because 12 of the 24 elders represent the Church ... which latter is true. They wear crowns and so should have received their rewards even though the martyrs are not yet raised up to receive theirs. The Time to reward the prophets and Saints is not even mentioned until the 7th Trumpet. This Trumpet is the first of two trumpets that sound on the Day Christ is revealed at His second coming. Rev.11:18. John himself will talk to one of those 24 elders in Rev.7:14 as to the identity and the origin of the martyrs. Do 12 elders represent the Church but not these Trib-Martyrs? If so, why are they and Trib-Survivors excluded from the raptured Church? If not, why do martyrs alone "serve God day and night in the Temple in heaven for 1000 years" ... while we rule on earth? Rev.5:10; Rev.2:26-27; Rev.7:15-17; Rev.20:4-5. The "first-resurrection" occurs after Christ appears to gather the martyrs of Rev.20:4. The "sitting on thrones" part of that verse is a "flashback" to what had already taken place in Rev.7:15. To "live again" and rule with Christ from heaven's temple is the result of the "first resurrection." John looks back to these "souls sitting on thrones" before Christ appears and the resurrection takes place. Rev.20:4-5. What he sees is a "flashback" to Rev.7:9-17. Just as Rev.4 and 5 anticipates the future rule of the Saints with Christ on earth, so Rev.20:4,5 looks back on the "first-resurrection" after it occurs to assure the martyrs they will rule from heaven's Temple for 1000 years. The Millennium promise is as much, if not more, of a motive to die for Christ than it is for Saints to survive...because of the much greater reward!! The best manuscripts for Rev.5:10 do not say: "We (meaning Pre-Trib Saints), will reign on earth"; but "they (those who are yet to be redeemed and who still may die), will reign with Christ on earth"...or from heaven in the case of martyrs. Pre-Tribs try to prove Trib-Survivors are "left behind" twice; once before they believe and again when Christ comes and "we all, except faithful Trib-Survivors (?), will appear with Christ in glory." Col.3:4. I. TIME FOR BEING PREPARED In our Sunday School lessons as of August 20, 2000, we finished studying Rev.20. By clicking on Lastday Archive on the Website, you may read messages #94 to #100 that present the following reasons to be Prepared for the Endtime. 1. The Restrainer of Evil will be Removed to Begin the Endtime. Message #94 This is when Antichrist will be revealed. Babylon the Great will be removed because of her sins. The forces of world government will be commandeered by Ten Kings who devote their entire power and authority to support Antichrist. The usual view, that removing the Church to heaven will allow the Lawless One to be revealed, fails to show that such removal is an act of God's judgment on the Apostasy of Great Babylon that exercises a restraining force against lawless government. 2. Two Prophets Arrive from Heaven to Contest Evil Powers. Messages #95, 99 They demonstrate God's Kingdom Power for 1260 days. This is the Mandate of Rev.12:10 and reveals the words of Jesus that "some of those standing (t)here (during the Endtime) will not taste death until they see (the fulfillment of this Mandate) when, as He had just stated, "the Son of Man is about to come in glory." Their task is to feed and protect 144,000 Jews fleeing into the desert. Rev.12:6,14. At the same time, their powers fortify the faith of the Saints in facing death. "They love not their (corporate) life unto death." Rev.12:11. 3. Seventh Trumpet is God's Appointed Time for Victory. Messages #96,97,99 Only Trump 7 announces the time for four of seven things that come on the Lastday. They include God's wrath, Saints' resurrection and rewards and the destruction of the wicked. The giving of rewards requires the "first resurrection" at Christ's personal return. "He brings His rewards with Him and Every eye will see Him and all the Saints who pierced Him coming with Him." Matt.16:27; Rev.1:7. 4. Central Hope of Martyrs Highlights their Incentive as Overcomers. Message #98 The greatest reward of all, promised to the Church in Rev.3:12, is attained by the Martyrs coming out of great tribulation. They sit on thrones reigning with Christ 1000 years in heaven's Temple. No heat of the sun will fall on them. Rev.7:16. The most compelling incentive for overcomers will be the certainty of Christ's imminent return with the reward promised to martyrs that they will serve God in heaven's Temple for 1000 years! Rev.7:15-17; Rev.20:4,5. "He is coming quickly." After reigning as "pillars in heaven's temple," Jesus promises that 1000 years later He will "write on him who overcomes the name of God and the name of the City of God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from God and He will also write on him His new name. He who has an ear; let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches." Rev.3:11,12. 5. Setting Dates is Foolhardy Prior to the Covenant of Dan.9:27. Message #100 The only principle for determining the end is that of the 1290 days in the second half of Daniel's 70th Sevens of years. This period will be split in two halves by the fall of Babylon the Great, the Two Prophets sent from heaven to contest the power of Satan when Michael casts him from heaven forever, the breaking of the Covenant and the united action of Ten Kings who support Antichrist after they destroy Babylon in "one hour by fire." Daniel's final 30 days will be "cut short" for the Elect's sake. 6. All Believers Raised up on the Day Christ Appears. Message #98,99 The promise in I Cor.15 to change mortals to immortality and bodies corrupted by death into incorruptible bodies, whether from their graves or from the sea, must be fulfilled on the Day Christ appears. The Two Prophets arise from death slightly in advance of the "rest of the dead in Christ." This occurs on the same day that the 144,000 are rescued from Mt. Zion. They will be taken to heaven to sing the song of the Lamb and to present the Son of Man to the Ancient of Days slightly before the Son of Man "gathers the rest of the dead in Christ and the rest of the living survivors" from earth to meet Him at the Synagogue in the Sky. Mark 13:27; 2 Thess.2:1. 7. Mourners will Beg to Escape when Christ Appears. Scripture in both Testaments show that people are saved even on the Lastday. Jesus urges the Jews to "beg to escape" when they see Him appear and by that act "know their redemption and kingdom are near." Joel 2:32; Zech.14:16; Luke 17:30,33; Luke 21:28,31,36. Revelation and Matthew both speak of the mourners who will escape. No one knows but that millions of Muslims will turn to Christ, perhaps thinking He is Mohammed! "All Israel will be saved when their Messiah comes out of Zion." Rom.11:25-27. Christ's coming in the "brightness of His own glory" while the sun remains dark, and with millions upon millions in His company, will be the decisive and most critical Hour in all of human history. Any expectation of the Blessed Hope prior to this moment for all Believers of all the ages to be caught up to His glorious Presence is self-indulgent and vaunts an anticlimax to God's purpose. 8. The Saved "Tribes of Earth" Multiply and Populate the Earth for 1000 Years. At the end of the millennial reign of Christ, Satan will be loosed from the Abyss for a short time. Being bound for 1000 years, and with Christ personally ruling all mankind with peace and prosperity for all, reveals that men's hearts are incorrigibly evil and rebellious except for God's grace. Satan will be able to gather great armies to make war against Christ one final time. Then he and all unbelievers will be judged and cast into Hell forever. Rev.20:7-15. 9. The Second Death Separates Unbelievers from God Eternally. The "first resurrection" refers to the physical resurrection and the changing of every Believer's body into the likeness of Christ's body in an instant of time. It is called a "spiritual body." It consists of "flesh and bones"; not of "flesh and blood." Those who accept Christ after He appears will never die; but they will not receive eternal bodies until God makes "all things new." Luke 24:39; I Cor.15:50. The "second death" applies to all unbelievers who die before and during the "Hour of Trial that comes upon all the earth to try all its inhabitants." This Hour begins when Christ appears in glory. Luke 21:25,34,35; Rev.3:10-11; Rev.16:19-21; Rev.19:15-21. The bodies of unbelievers will be resurrected and will live forever; but they will be forbidden to enter heaven or to come upon the new earth. 10. The Great White Throne Judgment Effects the Final Separation from God. After the millennial reign of Christ, the nations will be judged. "Sheep nations" who have treated God's people favorably will enter the New Heaven and Earth and the New Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven from God. "Goat nations" will be judged and cast into Hell. The former will "inherit the Kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world." This is the eternal Kingdom; not the millennial kingdom. During the reign of Christ whole nations of peoples develop as they reveal their attitude toward the "least of His brethren" who have not yet received their eternal bodies. They will be separated as "sheep and goat" nations and judged after God speaks one word to create the new heaven and earth. When the great white throne appears, the "face of this present earth and heaven will flee away and no place will be found for them. The elements of this earth will melt with fervent heat and He will make all things new." The oceans will explode from the sun's impact. There will be no more need of the sun unless, perhaps, its interior becomes the abode of the damned. Here was my update on why Daniel's prophecy, fulfilled to the exact day, is foundational for my website's basic premise that the Day of the Lord is a Single 12-Hour Day which will fortify the Saints for the greatest test of their faith. The "appointed time" to which Jesus refers in Luke 19:44 is the very day to which He also refers in verse 42 when He speaks of what Jewish leaders could have known "on this DAY." It is the same message as that of Acts 17:31 where God has "appointed a DAY." It is the same word used in Matt.24:33,36 where Jesus speaks of the DAY of His return so that the Saints will "know the end is near." And so it is the same word in Rev.6:17 for the DAY of God's wrath which is a Single 12-Hour Day of the Lord! My basic premise is NOT that God determined the 173,880 days to be exact solar days. Yet that is true. My basic premise is NOT that Christ died in AD 32. Yet this agrees with the findings presented in 600 Planetariums that Christ was born on Sept.1, BC 3 which was Tishri 1, the first day of the Hebrew New Year in BC 2. As of the spring of BC 1, Jesus was 1½ years of age, just before Herod’s death, and in the spring of AD 32, He was 33½. Christ was born on the DAY chosen by God in the fullness of "time." My premise is that, just as Christ was presented as King on the appointed day of Palm Sunday and died on the appointed day of Nisan 14, so He will come on the single 12-Hour Day of the Lord. The 70th Seven must be exact days ending with the death of the Two Prophets just as the 69 sevens were exact days. The Day of the Lord is also a single day of 1000 years in duration from God’s point of view. The entire period to Him is like "day one" is to us as Peter said. It begins with the single Day of the Lord and ends with the single Day of God. 2 Pet.3:10-12. His second coming will occur on one of the 3½ DAYS after the Two Prophets complete their exact number of 1260 days of prophesying. Jesus spoke of "this DAY," Palm Sunday, the day on which He wept, as one which the Jewish leaders could have known. This was the day Daniel predicted as the very last day of 173,859 days allowed by 68 solar sevens from Nisan 30 of BC 445 to Nisan 9 of AD 32. This day, Palm Sunday, was the day of Messiah the Prince as predicted in Dan.9:26 and Zech.9:9. Five days "after that," Messiah was cut off but not for Himself. He died on Nisan 14 without interrupting the continuation of the 69th Biblical Seven which ended 16 days later on Nisan 30. It was the final date of the 173,859 solar countdown that brought the count into exact juxtaposition with Palm Sunday! It was the final date of the 173,880 days of 69 Biblical sevens that brought the count into exact conformity with the 69th Anniversary of the Decree given to Nehemiah. Only the Biblical countdown allowed Passover to always occur in the Spring. The Jewish calendar corrects the seasonal problem only by inserting an extra 30-day month seven times every 19 years. It is only the 360-day Biblical countdown that automatically kept Passover within the second week of Nisan every single year! In each seven year period, Nisan 14 fell on a different day of that week, but always on Friday of each set if "sevens." It is the only possible way to discover the Secret of the 70 Sevens. So it is with the exact number of days God has appointed for God’s Kingdom Power to be manifested on earth through the Two Witnesses. Rev.12:10. Rev.12:14 states it will be 3½ times and Rev.11:1-3, Rev.12:6 and Rev.13:5 identify it as 1260 days or 42 months. The "end of time" in Revelation connects directly to the 1290 prophetic days of Dan.12:11 which Jesus said will be "cut short." And the extra 75 days (1335) from the Resurrection to the Dedication of the Temple at Hanukkah exactly fits the time between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Day of Celebration over the restoration of the Temple...in this case the Millennial Temple. I have shown the "significance" of Dan.9:26 for the day of Palm Sunday, for the day of Passover five days "after that" and for the day of "presentation of Messiah as King" predicted by Zech.9:9 as well as Dan.9:26 and made recognizable by Jesus Himself in Luke 19:42. They failed to recognize "this very DAY as the appointed time of their visitation." Luke 19:44. The time for being "cut off" was declared by Daniel to occur (five) days "after" the 173,859 solar days of prophecy were fulfilled on Palm Sunday. And the full "time" of 173,880 Biblical days was still in effect until sixteen days later...Nisan 30. Actually, not a single day was "cut short," neither in the solar or in the Biblical countdown. There is no "circular logic" involved. They are straightforward prophetic and contiguous days seen both from the view of solar time and Biblical countdown reality. There is no need for "correction" as in the Jewish calendar because the continuity of Passover on Friday every 7th year, during the entire 476 years, was contained within the second week of Nisan by using a 360-day countdown overlaid on the solar calendar. Only the 476 years (68 sevens) could produce a whole number of 24-Hour days so that the prophetic countdown would end 21 days before the 69th anniversary of the original decree of Nisan 30, BC 445 and STILL provide enough days for the 69th Biblical countdown. Such profound simplicity could only be devised by God! Finite men only blemish the evidence for His omniscience. Who but He could devise such precision without contradiction or need for correction? The Jews continue to adjust their monthly dates to fit the solar requirements. The Biblical countdown of 69 sets of seven needs no adjustment because it automatically covered the time required by the 68 sets of solar sevens and still allowed the 69th Seven to include Palm Sunday and Passover and the 69th Anniversary of those sevens to occur in the same month and on the same day of the week! It all points to a specific "time of visitation" that only unbelieving but friendly wise men could understand from Daniel’s prophecy. Their forebears knew Daniel in person. And they discovered from Dan.12:11 that the secret of 69 sets of seven was in the multiplicity of 68 sets of months with the full moon included 85 times. They discovered the 173,880 days of the 69 sets were overlaid on the annual calendar of 68x365.25 days to its last day...with 21 days to spare. As of the spring of BC 1, the wise men knew the child was near two years of age and that 450 of the so-called (490) "years" had come and gone. In reality only 444 years had come and gone. That's why Daniel used the term "69 Sevens." At the expected age of 30 which was the fall of AD 28, only 3½ years would remain for Messiah to be "cut off." They knew this though it had been only 444 solar years since the Prophecy began to be fulfilled. The Star of Bethlehem simply guided their way to Jesus. Their timing could not be "out of sync" by knowing the secret was in the use of 1290 days for a consistent 30-day monthly countdown. (It is obvious of course that a "Calendar" of 360 annual days was never intended to determine the "times" for Jewish activity. The coded secret was "hidden" in the text to be unveiled for Endtime Saints who need reassurance that God's promises for them are as certain as His purpose!) Dec.31, 2004. Here is my response to problems faced by various persons: CHRIST’S BIRTH AND DEATH Ernest Martin determined that Christ was born Sept.11, BC 3 on the Gregorian (Julian) Calendar and Tishri 1, BC 2 on the Hebrew Calendar. Sept. 11 on the Julian Calendar was the start of BC 2 on the Hebrew Calendar. The two come into sync in the Spring of BC 2 which was BC 2 on both calendars. Christ was ½ year old as of the Spring of BC 2...on both Hebrew and Julian calendars. So in the Fall of BC 2 He was One year old no matter which calendar was used. 1½ years, Spring, BC 1 - 2 as of Fall of BC 1. Jesus was 30 in the Fall of AD 28. Add 3½ years = Spring of AD 32. I do not agree with Martin’s date of AD 30 for His death. He just assumes, because it was a sabbatical year, that Jesus began His ministry in the fall of AD 27 when He was 29. Martin is one year off to start with. With His ministry 2½ years in length, Martin places His death in the Spring of AD 30. Daniel in #77978 of Bible Prophecy states: "But here is an additional problem. Luke 3:1 is used to associate the 15th year of Tiberius with the first of Jesus' three Passovers before his death. His 15th year, according to historians, was in A.D.29. That would put Jesus' crucifixion three years later in A.D.32. So, Jesus would need to be born in 2 B.C. for him to be 30 years old in A.D.29." (This does not agree with the above chart with His age at 30 in the Fall of AD 28. One must know whether it is the Spring or Fall in which an event takes place). Mark of the Matt.24 Yahoo Group, in #7866, agrees Martin’s date for Christ’s birth in the Fall of BC 2 is correct. But like Martin he starts His ministry at age 29 instead of 30. He sees only 2½ instead of 3½ years of ministry per evidence given by Daniel. In #7867 Mark wrongly assumes: "These three would then be the three feasts over a two year period." Passover cannot occur 3 times in two years. Mark shortens the fulfillment of prophecy by two years in starting the ministry of Jesus at age 29 instead of 30 and by limiting His ministry to 2½ years when John’s Gospel sees 3½ years due to Passover 3 times after the start of His ministry in the fall of AD 28. There is one problem I must address. Mark states: "Many lines of evidence lead to this conclusion that Jesus died in AD 30. Here's one. Passover only occurs on a Friday in the years of AD 30 and AD 33. The only tenable dates are AD 30 and 33. See Harold Hoehner's book for the details. However, the evidence points to a date of AD 30 for the crucifixion and not AD 33. It's simple." No, it’s not that simple. The Hebrew calendar is always from one to three days off. Take the current Hebrew calendar and note Passover, Nisan 14, does not always occur on a full moon. From 2000 to 2012, it occurs on the full moon date five times. It occurs six times at one day prior to the full moon. It occurs once on a day after the full moon and once on two days after a full moon! The date of Nisan 14, though it may have been on Friday in AD 33, it may have been two days away from a full moon. On a 30-day countdown, Passover is at full moon and on a Friday, Nisan 14, exactly once every seven years...AD 25 and AD 32. Correcting Mark’s two errors automatically removes AD 30 from consideration. AD 33 is out of scope since Herod’s death has now been confirmed as having occurred just prior to the Fall of BC 1 when Jesus became 2 years of age. The wise men knew 63 sets of solar sevens (441 years) had passed as of the spring of BC 4. (See my Biblical Month). The spring of BC 4 was 2½ years before His birth in the fall of BC 2. They knew 444 years had passed as of the spring of BC 1 when Jesus was a year and a half. The 68 sevens ended in the spring of AD 32 (The 63 sevens or 441 years to BC 4 were from the spring of 445 to the spring of BC 4. Then 441+35 (or 7x5) = 476 for the other five sets of seven). If Jesus died in AD 33, He would have been born too late for Herod to have died just prior to His second birthday. Since Passover fell on Friday, Nisan 14, in the spring of BC 4 and also in AD 4,11,18,25 and 32, Jesus also had to be 33½ years old in the spring of AD 32; not in AD 33. The above chart proves He died in AD 32, not in AD 33. Hebrew calendar dates are fixed by additions of 7 months over each 19-year cycle. Adjustments are made by adding 30-Day months. But it is always out of sync by up to three days. It was 475 (25x19 cycles) years from Sept.11/Tishri 1 in 445 BC to the fall of Sept.11/ Tishri 1-3 in AD 31). The very secret of synchronizing the Gregorian (sun-based) and the Hebrew (moon-based) calendars requires 30-day adjustments. This is the hidden Key for understanding the 70 Sevens. God applied this synchronization to the "code" for interpreting the 70 Sevens. The code is hidden in the final revelation of 1290 days for the end of the 70th Seven. Daniel 12:11-12 (Just 75 days from Sukkot to the Dedication of Hanukkah in December will take us from the 1260 days of Revelation to Daniel’s 1335 days). The secret is embedded in the use of 30 day months where both halves of the 70th Seven equal 1260 days or 42 months after deducting 30 days from the 43 months of 1290 days. Sixty-nine of the 70 sevens ended on Nisan 14 of AD 32 since the exact day for the beginning of 476 years began on Nisan 30 of BC 445. Even if the decree was not on Nisan 30 itself, the countdown began with the first day of the next month. The addition of seven 30-day months to the Hebrew calendar for 25 cycles of 19 years takes us from 9/11 of 445 BC to 9/11 AD 31 for a total of 475 years (475+1=476 or 68x7). The extra year (476-475) was made up of 148-150 days from Nisan 30 to New Year’s Day in BC 445 plus 215-217 days from New Year’s Day in AD 31 to Nisan 9 in AD 32. So the Solar and Hebrew calendars agree to the precise week of Christ’s Birth and Death! I show this in Chart #23 of God’s Timing. Mel Then on New Year's Day, 2005, after receiving messages from Daniel and Mark, I wrote on "Synchronizing the Sun-Based and Lunar-Based Calendars Daniel, You gave no "authority" in stating Passover was NOT the day of Crucifixion and that it occurred on Wednesday instead of Friday. "A Harmony of the Gospels," by Robert L. Thomas and Stanley N. Gundry, published by Harper San Francisco, P.320, states: "The day called `preparation' is a term well known among the Jews as referring to Friday. It was common practice among the Jews to refer to a fractional part of a day or night as one day and one night. Gen.42:17-18; I Sam.30:12-13; I Kings 20:29; 2 Chron.10:5,12; Esther 4:16; 5:1. Three days and three nights is just another way of saying on the third day or after three days." A problem arises over the day of preparation because of the two ways of starting a day. The view of the first three Gospels is from sunrise to sunrise. John views it as from sunset to sunset. So John writes of the trial on the day of preparation, Passover day. The preparation was on Thursday from the view in the Synoptic accounts and on Friday from the view of John because the Jews had not yet eaten the Passover. John 13:1; 19:14; 18:28. The Passover meal was Thursday evening (after 6 PM) for the start of the 14th in the three accounts, but Passover in John began at sunrise on Friday. So Jesus ate the Passover meal on the 14th according to the "sunset to sunset" view and the Jews had not yet eaten the meal according to the "sunrise to sunrise" view. The Passover meal for the latter could be eaten after 6 PM on Friday which was still the 14th. As to the Hebrew calendar showing Passover on a Friday only in AD 30 and AD 33, I show in my "Biblical Month" presentation that the Hebrew calendar is always one to three days off. Sometimes it is off by more than a month because "corrections" are made by inserting a 13th month on their calendar every 2nd or third year. Just as the addition of a 30-day month, seven times every 19 years, comes remarkably close to the Gregorian calendar, adjusting to within three days of each other, so the "coded" secret of the 70 sevens adjusts the difference between 68 sets of sevens based on 365¼ literal days over a 476 year-period with no more than 21 days difference! God never intended for the 69 sevens to equal 483 literal years nor for 70 sevens to equal 490 literal years! From Tishri 1, New Year's Day of BC 445 to the fall of Tishri 1, in AD 31 when Jesus was 33, it was 475 years (444-1=444+31=475). That allowed exactly 25 cycles of 19-year changes (25x19=475) on the Hebrew calendar. The full time was 476 years which is 68 sets of seven. The extra year was made up of about 215 days from His birthday in AD 31 to His death on Nisan 14 in AD.32 plus about 150 days from Nisan 14, BC 445 to New Year's day, Tishri 1 in BC 445. This most amazing fact of synchronizing the Hebrew calendar with the 365.25 day calendar over the same period of 476 years of Daniel's prophecy, with the difference of 21 days, agrees to the very day on Palm Sunday with the 68 multiples of 7x365.25 days. It's a divine Key to the 70 Sevens. The total number of days, except for 21, agrees because the synchronization of the two calendars is always off base by one to three days even after making 19 thirty-day adjustments and can be off at times by over a month between Passover and Easter. The same close agreement obtained by inserting a 13th month 7 times every years also exists between the 69 sevens of 30-day months and 68 literal sevens of sun-based years. But God used the 21 days of difference to force the prophecy to fulfill Zech.9:9 and Dan.9:26 on Palm Sunday before it fulfilled Lev.23:5 on Nisan 14. The Key to the 70 Sevens is simply the application of the same principle to the understanding that (69x7) 483 so-called (but misleading term) "years" was provided by (68x7) 476 literal solar years. I confess my own guilt in using the term "483 years" rather than identifying it as 69 sets of "sevens," each of which is 35 or 36¾ days LESS than 7 actual years. Mel |
