Basic Setting for Meditations in the Book of Revelation
Endtime Coming of God’s Kingdom Power

Mark 8:38; 9:1 - Rev.12:10,11.

“Whoever is ashamed of Jesus and his words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38. NASB

Mark 9:1

New Living Translation New American Standard

 Jesus went on to say:

And He was saying to them,

I assure you that some of

Truly I say to you, there are

YOU standing here right

some of THOSE standing here

now will not die BEFORE

who shall not taste death until

you see the Kingdom of

they see the kingdom of God

God arrive in great power!

AFTER it has come with power.

Mark 9:2,3

Six days later Jesus

And six days later...

took Peter, James and John

to the top of a mountain - -

Jesus’ appearance changed.

And He was transfigured

Elijah and Moses appeared

before them....

and began talking with him.

During the Endtime, Satan is Expelled from Heaven Forever!
Rev.12:10,11. “And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “NOW the salvation and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.” NASB

Problem for our Meditations

Why did Robert Stephanus, in 1550 A. D, begin Mark 9 with Jesus’ words spoken to His Disciples as well as the people “about eight days” earlier? Luke 9:28. And why have these translations omitted Jesus’ promise that SOME will not taste death “BY ANY MEANS”?

Our Meditations Examine Issues that will Face all Believers.

1. The NASB uses AFTER instead of BEFORE to indicate when “some would not taste death.” The KJV and NASB refer to THOSE Believers, Not to the Disciples (YOU).

2. The Context in Mark 8 requires Believers to be “willing to die for Christ” to the very End.

3. Mission: Build His Church until He comes in glory with the angels to “reward every believer.” Matt.16:17-27.

4. Jesus would be killed by the scribes who taught “Elijah must come first”!

5. Why Christ is coming in Kingdom Power. How Believers will be impacted.
