PROPHECIES FULFILLED IN THE MILLENNIUM

Scriptures Fulfilled during the Millennial Reign of Christ

There are two primary reasons for belief in the 1000-Year-Reign of Christ. The 1st reason sees Martyrs

"serving God and reigning with Christ" as the reward for faithfulness unto death. The martyrs "out of the

great tribulation will reign in heaven as pillars in the Temple of the New Jerusalem for 1000 years".

Rev.3:12; Rev.7:14-17; Rev.20:4.

The New Jerusalem will remain in heaven during the Millennium. "Those who overcome to the End will reign

upon the earth. Like the vessels of a potter the nations will be broken to shivers". "Kept alive", millions of

unbelievers who beg for mercy will enter the Kingdom. Left Behind fiction books deny that these unbelievers

can repent and escape God’s wrath.

The latest Left Behind book, "The Rapture", also limits the number of Believers dwelling in heaven to those

saved before the tribulation. They require tribulation survivors to remain on earth to populate the kingdom.

In order to rule "over the earth", the Church and the New Jerusalem would come down immediately. "Pastor

Billings taught that New Jerusalem will descend to the new earth after the 7-year tribulation and Jesus’ glorious

appearing". P.185.

"The Rapture" applies the reward of Rev.7:14-17 to Pre-Tribbers instead of those "coming out of great

tribulation"! It doesn’t even mention that Martyrs in the Church "reign with Christ and serve God in heaven for

1000 years". Rev.3:12; Rev.20:4. Except for the final page and a chart, it places the decree for the new

heaven and earth, "It is Done," Rev.21:6, *before rather than after* the Millennium! P.188. In order to avoid

precious truth, this book straddles the fence internally by presenting A-Millennialism rather than Pre-Millennialism.

"The Rapture" covertly misappropriates the special reward of "serving God in heaven’s Temple" to the Pre-Trib

Church (P.219). Rev.7:14; Rev.3:12. This slyly removes a reward given only to those "beheaded for testimony to

Jesus Christ". Those in the Church who "overcome to the End", Rev.2:26, refers to the End of the Great Tribulation.

But this book puts the End at a Pre-Trib Rapture! Deception leaves Saints ill-equipped if they must suffer unto death,

the distinctive reason for this 1000-Year-Reward to the Martyrs! Rev.6:9-11.

The 2nd reason for referring to the 1000-Year Reign of Christ relates to fulfilling prophecies for the rule of ethnic

Israel over Gentile nations while Satan is "bound and cast to the abyss 1000 years". Rev.20:1-3. Christ resurrects

the dead and gathers all the saints to Himself and destroys all who reject His salvation the Day He appears.

I Thess.4:13-18; Mark 13:27; 2 Thess.1:7-10. Christ’s Millennial reign will "break the nations like pottery"! Rev.2:27.

Israelis (and descendants of Ishmael’s Tribes) will "mourn and beg to escape all things happening on that day and

to prevail by standing before the Son of Man". With signs of that Day Jews will "know their redemption and kingdom

are near". Their Millennial rule results in "sheep nations inheriting the kingdom on earth" after "goat nations" are

separated and cast into Hell. Luke 21:28,31,36; Matt.25:32-46.

A nuclei of "sheep nations" with millions descended from Israel’s and Ishmael’s 24 Tribes, "willing to die, will be

kept alive". They bow to Christ when "all mankind sees Him appear with all the Saints". Rev.1:7. Of each Twosome,

"one is taken" in judgment and "one left" to populate the Kingdom. Luke 17:33-37; Zech.14:16. The reasons for the

1000-Year Reign of Christ are ignored unless those "beheaded serve God in heaven" and other millions are "kept

alive" to populate an earthly kingdom forever. Luke 17:33; Rev.20:4; Matt.25:32-34.

For the sake of the saints "the days of tribulation will be cut short" as Jesus predicted. Yet a third of the

Jewish population (of about 15 million) will come through the fires and be rescued on the Day of the Lord.

It must not be assumed that only a few Christians will survive and be caught up when Christ appears.

Jesus, knowing the passion of the Beast to kill His own, has prepared "some who must taste death" during

the final 3½ days to be resolute in refusing to bow to that false Christ. Mark 8:38; 9:1; Matt.16:27-28; Rev.12:11.

For while the Two Prophets lie dead for up to four days, "some who will not taste death, by any means until

after they see the Kingdom of God having come in power", will still not bow the knee to the Beast! These and

the Two Prophets are the final ones to glorify Christ before survivors are "kept from the hour of trial".

The Left Behind books estimate a small percentage of Christians surviving to populate the kingdom but

suggest the number of Christians raised up to heaven will be "20 Billion". P.314. It’s impossible for 20

billion to dwell in the New Jerusalem which has a limited cubed spatial area of 1500 miles for the "ones

who are chosen". While "no man can number the tribulation martyrs", the rebellious at the Millennium’s

end are like "sand of the sea". Sheep nations will be as the "stars of heaven". Rev.7:9; Rev.20:8; Gen.26:4.

The prospect of billions coming against the Saints at Jerusalem brings up a deeper reason for Scriptures

to be fulfilled during the Millennium. God will be glorified not only by showing mercy to all mankind when

Christ comes. He will again be glorified in His eternal plans for countless numbers who embrace His

blessings in a 1000-Year Garden of Eden … "restored"! There’s no excuse for billions deceived by Satan

at the end of the Millennium!!

Global Blessings Characterize the Millennium

Peace and the righteous rule of Christ. Psa.2:6; Isa.9:7; Rev.2:26.

Abundance of crops and general prosperity.

Longevity of life with no need to die.

Healing by the leaves of the Tree of Life.

Land of Israel divided among 12 tribes.

Jerusalem the elevated world capital.

Temple and sacrifices in Jerusalem.

Levites serve in the Temple.

Apostles rule Israel; Saints rule the nations.

All nations come to worship God and the Messiah.

Blessing requires keeping Feast of Tabernacles annually.

God’s word will be universally taught.

Satan finally released to deceive the nations.

Armies destroyed and Satan cast into the lake of fire.

Heaven and earth pass away.

The final judgment and second death.

Degrees of (eternal) punishment in Hell.

Final enemy, death, destroyed.

Separation of sheep and goat nations.

Christ submits to eternal rule of God the Father.

God creates new Heaven and Earth.

Prophecies Fulfilled Eternally

New Heaven and Earth inaccessible to those in Hell.

New Jerusalem the eternal abode of the Saints.

Saved nations periodically enter the New Jerusalem from earth.

Saved nations continue healing by leaves of Tree of Life.

All Nations Put Under the Rule of Christ

The 144,000 Jews are the "Firstfruit" of a third of the Jewish Remnant who will be "kept alive" for the

kingdom. Zech.13:8-9; Luke 21:28,31,36. They inaugurate worship in the Millennial Temple by the 12

Tribes described in Ezek.40-48. Even descendants of the disciplined Tribe of Dan will inherit their

promised land forever. Ezek.43:7,9; Ezek.48:1.

A remnant of Israel from all the nations will return a "second time" to Israel when God exterminates

His rebellious enemies. Isa.13:9-11; Isa.11:11-12; Isa.35:10. God again chooses Israel and Jerusalem.

Isa.14:1; Zech.2:12; Isa.45:3-7. All nations come to worship God at Jerusalem with Judah and Israel

reunited. Isa.2:2-4; Rev.15:4; Rev.2:26-27.

All men will know the Lord, from least to greatest. Egyptians will come to make sacrifices. Isa.19:19-23;

Isa.27:13. A highway will connect Egypt and Assyria. These two nations and Israel will be a blessing to

the earth. Isa.19:24-25. God will never again forsake Israel after restoring her as a "light to the nations".

Isa.41:17; Isa.49:6-7,12; Isa.52:10; Isa.60:3,5,11-16. This is an everlasting covenant unto all generations

forever. Isa.61:8-11; Isa.66:19,22.

Violence and war will be outlawed. Isa.60:18; Isa.65:19.

Even the animals will be tamed. Isa.65:25.

Children will play on the hole of a formerly venomous snake. Isa.11:8.

The wolf and the lamb will graze together". Isa.11:6-9; Isa.65:25.

It will be as the "Garden of Eden". Ezek.36:35; Joel 2:3.

Creation delivered from its curse as of our resurrection! Rom.8:19-23.

God’s motive in all these actions is the display of His glory … to make His name glorious. He will

"rejoice in Jerusalem forever. All mankind will come to bow down before me", says the Lord. "At that

time they shall call Jerusalem `the throne of the Lord’. All nations will gather to Jerusalem in the name

of the Lord. They shall not walk in the stubbornness of their evil heart any longer". Isa.63:14;

Isa.66:18-23; Jer.3:17-18.

Millennial Temple and Kingdom at Jerusalem

David’s throne will be established forever. It will no longer be a prey to the nations. Jer.33: 17; Ezek.34:23-27;

Joel 2:19,26. Israel will be God’s people once again and He will prove Himself holy to the nations. All will know Him.

Ezek.37:23-28; Ezek.38:16,23; Ezek.39:7,23-28.

The Wicked and the Last Enemy Eliminated

The last enemy destroyed is death itself. I Cor.15:24-26. "Goat nations will be separated from the

sheep". Matt.25:32. The wicked from all the ages will be raised up and judged out of things written in

the books according to their deeds. "The sea gave up the dead that were in it and death and Hades

were cast into the lake of fire. This is Hell, the 2nd death. All who were not found written in the book

of life were cast into the lake of fire". Rev.20:12-15.

Two Eternal Communities under God

This Millennial doctrine is not likely to be accepted by any who believe "no one can be saved after the

Pre-Trib rapture if he has heard God’s word and rejected Christ". They do not believe that God will

"show mercy to repentant mankind" when Christ appears with all the Saints. Rom.11:33. Do men

comprehend the mind and ways of the Almighty? The revelation that "kings of the saved nations will

have the right to bring their glory into the New Jerusalem and be healed by the leaves of the tree of life"

involves a 2nd community. Rev.21:24-27; Rev.22:2,14. Their "blessing" is less than "serving God in

heaven and actually seeing His face" … without any Temple! Rev.22:3-5.

Observation on the Mideast Crisis

Winning the war against terrorism continues in fulfillment of the White Horseman of Seal One. No single person can be credited for "going forth conquering in order to overcome" evil forces that prevent the creation of Babylon the Great. Rev.6:1-2. The White Horseman wins a "crown" which I believe will issue in the "short rule" of Mystery Babylon, Rome. This "city will rule over the kings of the earth " by creating the apostasy that comes under God’s judgment for compromising global ruler-ship under a conglomerate mix of all religions, rulers and regimes. Rev.17:1,5,10,12-18.

Today’s crisis is not preliminary to Armageddon; but a means of drawing opposing Religious leaders into an "apostate" system that Paul writes must be "taken out of the way". 2 Thess.2:7. It will first contain sponsors of terrorism such as Syria and Iran. No agreement will work without inclusion of evil nations! But the nature of the System will bring judgment beginning with destruction of Babylon the Great "in one hour with fire". Rev.17:1,5,10-18. Verses 16-17 are the key to this entire passage.

The Red Horseman of Seal Two represents the Antichrist who "takes peace from the earth". Rev.6:3-4. The time of "peace" is described in Ezek.38-39 with Israel dwelling in un-walled cities. Ezek.38:8,14; Ezek.39:6. This will be the stage for invasion of the armies of Gog and Magog. That is when God Himself destroys these armies that will require 7 months to bury the dead and 7 years to bury the invaders’ weapons. Ezek.39:9-14.

We must not confuse the present crisis with the Gog and Magog war nor with an immediate buildup to Armageddon! The purpose of Gog and Magog will be to convince the nations that God is Israel’s God. Ezek.38:23; Ezek.39:6-7,21-29.

The purpose of Armageddon will be to eliminate all opposition to the iron-like reign of Christ over the nations during the Millennium. Mel Miller
